Hey guys I know a lot of you lucaya/ Rilaya fans hated my last chapter (don't lose faith on my lucaya heart, please!) know where gonna switch over to Riley's pov.
"Riles, what's wrong?" Maya said concerned. Riley rolled her eyes "Other than the obvious." Maya sighed and turned to face Riley "look, I know you're upset about farkle and smackle but I do think that maybe we should take a get away" maya said and explained that farkle had texted her his idea. " yeah I get it, I just didn't want to hear it from farkle, Lucas explained it to me I'm down if you are." Riley said quite obviously still annoyed. "Lucas?" Maya asked trying to sound totally un ruffled by the thought of Lucas and Riley. "When did you talk to Lucas?" "Oh he was just comforting me a few minutes ago." Riley said casually looking away. "And?" Maya said, she could tell when Riley was lying to her. Riley sighed and had a little break down. "Okay maya, lemme tell you what happened. But please, please don't get mad."
Riley's pov
Riley stormed out the back door and into the humid back woods of the school. She heard the door to the back of the school open. If it was farkle following her she was going to scream. To her relief she heard Lucas's voice, "Riley are you crazy you can't go back there!" "It's the quickest way to my house now leave me alone."Riley said cutting herself on a sticker bush "shit" she said as her arm started bleeding. Lucas sighed "here" he said and picked her up out of the swampy back woods and on a path of grass. They sat down and Lucas pulled a bandaid out of his book Bag. "You carry bandaids around in your book bag?" She asked with her eyebrows raised. Lucas chuckled, "yeah it's actually kinda funny. Maya and I used to go on these crazy adventures climbing waterfalls and mountains and as long as we were back before dark it was cool. But you know maya, she would always push herself and take it one step too far. Then I would have to spend the next hour stitching her leg up with my safety kit. He said smiling like and idiot. "Wow" Riley said "sounds really romantic"I wish I had someone like that. Lucas grabbed her arm "riley you do" he said with a smile. Riley getting the sudden impulse leaned over and kissed him. "I'm so glad you feel the same way" she said. "Riley!"Lucas said pulling away "I was gonna say farkle, I'm in love with maya!" He said standing up. "Oh god,
Oh god! I'm so sorry! She said and took off sprinting.
