After returning to my treehouse that night I kept having dreams about what I had seen. Scott was on all fours when I saw him. He looked like a wolf, but much bigger. His teeth sharp like razors. His fur was black as a Ravens feathers and his eyes a deeper blue than any sapphire. He was still familiar though. In his eyes I could see two things, one is that he was still Scott and the other was that he was scared. I wasn't sure if he was afraid of what he had become or if he was worried about what he might do.
I recalled the sounds his father made. It was a growl that sounded like it had come from his toes or in this case his paws. His eyes furrowed and lowered as he glared into my eyes and he was bearing his teeth at me. I knew that he was mad that I was there, or maybe he just saw dinner when he looked at me. I was certainly more afraid of him then of Scott. His fathers fur was not black like Scott's, but silver and grey. It made sense since his hair was mainly silver and grey when he was, human. He was bigger than Scott by about a foot or more, but they were both larger then any wolf I had ever seen.
In the morning I woke up thinking it had all been a dream. A really vivid and intense dream, but a dream. It took me a few minutes to realize that it hadn't been a dream and that my ex best friend was in fact, a werewolf and so was his father. I sat in shock for about an hour, running through the events of the night before. I knew that I had to rethink everything I had ever known and questions now flooded my mind.
