The more Kyungsoo thought about it, the more angry at himself he got. Why couldn't he have simply not let his emotions get the best of him? Why couldn't he have not fallen for her and her mysterious ways? To him, technically, he hadn't fallen for her. To him, he had simply gestured at a relationship. A friendly relationship. But apparently, his emotions were screaming something else. As he lay there in bed, he wondered what his mind was actually up to. And the more he thought about it, the more the questions came flooding in. Why had he taken her home that night? And why had he told her that he would be back the next day to check up on her? Was it his other half, telling him that shit was about to go down? Or was it his emotions taking over his original plans?
Either way, he didn't like the idea at all. He wasn't supposed to feel this way about anyone. Including his so called "friends". So what was the big deal? Was it because she was a girl? Kyungsoo thought about this deeply, tossing and turning on his mattress as if it were a Bed of Nails. He sat up, rubbing his head, which was now throbbing. He stood, deciding to take this discussion to the couch. Stumbling into the living room of his apartment, he grabbed the cover off the back of the couch and laid down, pulling one of the throw pillows under his head. And there he lie, awake and head now booming in his ears.
Slowly, time passed by and Kyungsoo had no progress with his thoughts. He had asked all the questions who could, however, they all ended with the same question: "Why?" It wasn't long before his brain began to shut down, his body drained from the earlier part of the night as well as his thoughts. His eyes were about to shut when his phone rang from the bedroom, sending him into a groaning fit. He jumped up off the couch, practically stomping over to the bedroom. Picking up the phone, he let his anger loose.
"What?!"
"Woah woah there man.. take it easy."
"Why are you calling me at," He looked at his alarm clock. "4:22 in the morning?"
"Because we have a problem." The seriousness in his friends voice was enough to not only calm him down, but to wake him up. The male quickly went into details.
"Kai, Sehun, Chen and I were the last to leave the club. Kai was fucked up pretty badly, so Sehun and I tried to help him to my car, in which I'd take him home. We'd decided that we would come back in the morning when he was sober to get his car. However, in the process of that decision, this guy who was standing on the corner comes towards us. Automatically I got this bad vibe from him, literally chills down my spine-""Holy hell Xiumin..." Kyungsoo said, cutting him off. Xiumin was the eldest in their group, meaning he had the most experience. If Xiumin got chills from a guy standing on a damn corner, Kyungsoo knew they were in for it.
"I know right... anywho. So I immediately warn the guys. Sehun takes Kai and my keys to the car and Chen and I get ready for our encounter. But, here's the thing..."
There was a pause.
"The guy comes up to us and puts his hands up in defense. He then says "Look fellows, Im not here for a brawl. I'm here to deliver a message." And we all just stand there, still in defense, but listening. Then, the guys face goes pale, eyes change to our usual color and his voice changes. "Beware of the Lady blowing Blood. What was once cold is now warm with love. In which chaos will rain from above. And death will come with a immense shove." And then he disappeared."
Kyungsoo stood there, frozen in shock. He had no idea what to think nor do with this information he had just been given. He sat on the bed, running a hand through his hair. He let out a soft sigh before continuing.
"Have you discussed this with Suho?"
"Of course I did. I called him right before I called you, approximately 1 hour ago. He said he'd look through some of his old books in his library and see what he can find."
