It had been a week since Crimson was attacked. It also had a week since they had slept in the same bed together. For some reason this made Kyungsoo feel really... fuzzy. And as they shared breakfast, he began to question his real feelings. In a weeks worth of time, he had found himself growing onto this girl. Someone who, hadn't been for her ex, would have been just another annoying ass stranger to him. That he found fascinating.
Smiling to himself, he mentally thanked her ex for letting her go and watched as she ate her toast and read an article online. They had decided that it be best if she stayed with Kyungsoo until what ever the hell was going on ended. No doubt her apartment was probably on watch, and Kyungsoo as well as his friends didn't want anything to happen to Crimson. A few days after that night, Kyungsoo stealthily returned to her apartment and gathered up her necessities. He set up the guest-room for her and everything was been calm since.
The sunlight shone through the apartment, brightening up the atmosphere. For once in Kyungsoo's life, he felt comfortable in the situation he was in. It was almost as if things were turning up for him. Life was good. He had formed somewhat of a positive relationship with a girl without having to deal with some sort of misery business or toxicity. However, Kyungsoo knew this was all going too well for him; and soon he'd be faced with the same problematic shit that somehow reappeared in his life.
"You alright there?" Crimson said, pushing her rectangle frames up further on her nose. Kyungsoo found her so cute, her hair done up in a messy bun and dressed in an oversized shirt and shorts. She had become quite comfortable with Kyungsoo and he was happy that she was, for she was going through some weird and fucked up shit. Who would have thought that his demon powers would help bring them closer together.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just in deep thought. Have you found anything demon related online yet?" He asked, walking over to her seat at the island. He had shown her how to use the network on demon terms and within a few days, she had become a master.
"Not really. I think I might take a break, my eyes hurt like hell."
"Hey, at least yours can't turn black like the empty souls we have." He said as his eyes flashed from deep to full black and back to the usual color they were.
"For some reason I find that hella fascinating." She said, turning towards him. She rested her hand elbow on the counter, staring deeply into his eyes.
And there he found himself, caught up once again. As he stared back, he almost felt as if he was on cloud nine; as if he could get lost in her eyes forever. However, before he could, she snapped him right out of her trance.
"You should show me some of your powers." She said, placing a hand on his thigh.
"What do you mean?" He asked, trying not to pay attention to the placement.
"Show me what you can do." She said, drumming a beat on his thigh. "Please?"
With that he smiled at her, and nodded his head. They both stood up, Kyungsoo heading to the center of the room."Obviously you know that I can change my eye color, but did you know I can shift shape?" He said as Crimson stood there, questioning what he just said.
"You're lying."
"I wouldn't lie to you."
"Okay Mr. Honesty-is-the-best-policy. Prove it." Kyungsoo smirked at her and focused his energy. He could feel all his energy pulsing out of his skin, leaving a tingling sensation. As he morphed, he could feel his heart speed up in anticipation. Once he opened his eyes, he came face to face with Crimson, who was astonished.
"You look-"
"Like you." Kyungsoo had purposely shifted into Crimson, just to freak her out. But from the looks of it, she looked relatively calm about her twin.
