Crimson's eyes remained still as she watched her father ponder deep in his thoughts. It was as if he didn't want to share the information with her, but he had to. For her life relied on it. And even after she quickly explained that factor to him, he still sat on the couch, blank face and wondering mind. The party had gathered around the two of them, taking a seat where ever there was one. They watched as Mr. Lee sat there, trying his best to come up with a way to explain to his daughter what the hell he had done as a young man that had already began to ruin her life. Angel became a little irritated, looking at the man with a glare.

"Look, I understand why you don't want to tell her sir, but it is on the factor of life and death. Would you really trade a piece of information for your daughter's freedom to life?" She said, standing her seat and walking over to look him in the eye. She crouched down at his level, her eyes twinkling.
"We can not judge you for your choices as a young adult, for they are done and there is nothing we can do about it. However, we can judge you for the ones you make here and now. So take the better part of the deal." She said and with that, he let out a hesitant sigh.

"Alright." He said, looking down at the girl with a faint smile. She returned it, standing from her position once more and heading back to where she was before.

"It was a long time ago. A little bit before your mother and I had first met."

"I was in college, working at a local café on campus. It was there that I met your mother, her usual stop in the morning to get a cup of warm tea. I was attracted to her as she was to me, and it was when I asked her out that I had found myself the most happiest. You're mother was beautiful, red hair like you and the most stunning brown eyes. Its only now that when I look at you, that I miss her the most." He spoke, letting out a soft sigh.

"Anyhow, we hit off immediately, growing to be the cutest couple on campus. However, what people didn't know about us was our natures. I wasn't exactly of this species and neither was she, somewhat. Her ancestors had done the forbidden, creating her and damning her into a curse. However, I didn't care. Curse or not, she was still my lover and I had intended to love her for a long time. Hence why when college was over and we were on our own, I proposed to her, making me the happiest man on earth when she said yes. And later you came a long, a clear resemblance of our love. But, it was also then that your mother's past had caught up to her. Not only was I in the wrong for dating a female outside my nature, but for dating your mother, a woman who's ancestors had done the same thing in their life time and had gotten away with it. This time, however, the counsel would not let this slip by. Your mother and I did our best to keep you safe, blocking out any form of power that you had harbored. It was after, that the counsel had found out about you and doomed your mother. The idea of you being normal was shown to their eyes, and although they believed it, they couldn't just not make an example out of our family. So they...." Crimson's father began to cry, his body shaking with sadness and fear.

"They killed your mother, sweetheart. They killed the love of my life, my everything, and left you to morn and face the punishment." He shook once again and that was when Crimson stood from her place in the living room, walking over to her father and bringing him into a warming hug. His tears damp on her clothing as well as his from her. She let out a choked sob, rubbing small circles on his back.

"I'm so sorry father." She whispered, sobbing once again.

"I'm sorry for keeping this from you, and I'm sorry for keeping you from your true nature." He said, pulling back slightly.
"You are a special child Crimson, a very special child. Your mother would have been proud of all that you have accomplished." He said, smiling up at her.
"You are truly one of a kind Crimson. And that it why you must know of your true nature... that you are a child of a demon, one full and one cursed."
