"Jess, Will's here!" I heard my dad shout from downstairs. Will picked me up every day to go to school.
I took my bag and swung it around my shoulder, before heading towards the door.
"Have a nice day." My dad said, lifting his head up from his newspaper. It had been almost 8 years since Mom died, and dad looked fine now, but there was still something different about him, he wasn't as happy as he used to be.
I closed the door behind me, before running towards Will's BMW. Will's quite rich, he has a big house, nice clothes and nice cars, but he doesn't show off, he's just good old Will. I'm not 'rich' but I'm not poor, I'm kind of in the middle 'upper' class, I have a nice house, cool clothes and I don't need anything else.
"Good Morning William." I said, teasing him, knowing he hated that name with his guts.
"Good morning Jess." He replied back, blasting the music full volume.
We started raping to Superbass, full volume on driving to school.
He parked his car as I got out, waiting for him. We had been bestfriends ever since preschool and our parents had been friends ever since then too.
I tried to lift up my really heavy bag, filled with books, Will obviously saw my struggling as he took my bag in one hand.
"Don't go breaking a shoulder, I'll hold it. And what's in there, rocks?" He teased me as we walked towards my locker, as people eyed us from head to toe. Me and Will are popular, but we don't really belong to any groups, we're just friends with everyone, and we're also known for throwing the best parties of the year.
"Jess, Will, you two should SO go out, you're like perfect for each other!" Amber, the head cheerleader said, coming up to my locker, as some of her friends agreed, throwing in "Yeh!" 's and "Deffo!" 's.
I rolled my eyes, I heard this sentence a million times a day, from every single one of my friends. I noticed Will doing the same thing. I can read Will's emotions like a book, just because we've been bestfriends for so long.
"Listen, Amber, for the billionth time you tell us, no we're not getting together, because we're only best friends! And plus, do remember Jess had a boyfriend." He told her, as she trotted of with her followers.
"This is seriously getting annoying." I mumbled, just loud enough so Will could here.
"I know, it sucks. Can a boy and a girl not be just friends? Well in our case best friends, but you see what I mean." He said as I nodded in agreement.
We headed towards Science, as I sat next to Will, like usual.
"Wanna go to the mall today?" I asked him as we sat down.
"Please don't tell me you're going to drag me into Victoria Secret again that was pure torture!" He said, scrunching his face to make it looked scared, which never failed to make me giggle.
"Why?" I pouted, though I knew the reason.
"Girl, don't be stubborn okay?" He said in a falsetto voice, which made me explose in laughter, as I got a few glares.
"Sure." He finally mumbled, I always won, he always gave up in the end,
"Yay!" I said loudly, sitting up straight in my seat, which caused another lot of students to give me the evils.
"Could you two just shut up and stop flirting." A girl with dark brown hair and big red glasses shouted at us, since the teacher wasn't here today.
"I see it someone's time of the month." Will mumbled, which made me laugh until tears came out.
"Jess, calm down you loser." I heard Will whisper as the whole class shot us glares.
