My head felt like someone has dropped a large brick. I moved my hand towards my head to hold it tight hoping that the pain would subside away but as soon as I raised my hands a sharp pain seared across my arms causing me to wince in pain.

Someone beside me shuffled causing me to give a loud scream. The room was dark so I couldn't see the person's face but when the room was flooded with lights, I could clearly see him in front of me. The sight of him in front of my eyes all safe and sound made the tears in my eyes to pour out. I hugged him tightly as if my life depended on it. Zaid tried to calm me down but it seemed impossible. At that very moment I decided to tell him everything but the words seemed to stubborn to come out of my mouth.

"You okay?" He asked me once I had calmed down a little. I nodded my head still unable to form words. He pulled me away at arms length and stared at me piercing holes in my eyes. I couldn't get myself to look away from those blue orbs. The stopped tears threatened to come back as I tried to clear my eyes of them, running towards the bathroom. But it seemed that my leg hadn't recovered yet and so I tripped but Zaid was quick to catch me.

"You can't run away from it your whole life." He said with a soft voice. He took my hands in his big ones and made me sit on the bed. I looked up in his blue eyes and started telling him all about that stalker.

"It all started on the day we were engaged. I received a message from an unknown number......" I told him everything from the first flower bouquet to the time when he wished to meet me, when he gave me my family photo with my face circled in dark red marker, everything. By the time I finished telling my stalker story, I was crying hysterically, as if it was happening to me again. Zaid held me close to his chest as a patch of his shirt became wet. It was only when Zaid's phone started ringing did we part away.

"It's mom." He said looking at the caller ID before sliding over her name and picking up the call. I tried to calm myself and was successful. After a little while Zaid hung up the phone and looked towards me.

"Mom wants us there for dinner. She says she has missed her daughter." A small smile graced my lips as soon as Zaid said that. It was 4:00 in the afternoon so there was plenty of time to get ready but for the time being we just sat there in silence, holding hands and processing everything.

I wanted to ask him where he had disappeared the night before or why was he behaving so distant when we had gone out for dinner, but I couldn't. I couldn't just open my mouth and ask him. So I kept my mouth shut and let it be. After a while he broke the silence,

"Can I just... Just look at those messages." He stuttered a little, scratching the back of his neck. I unlocked my iPhone and opened the messages before turning it towards him. A frown made it's way on his face as he read the messages. Somewhere in between a knowing look passed his features as he read a particular message but it quickly vanished away replacing it with a frown. He turned the phone towards the me, intending to maybe ask a question or point out something but before he could open his mouth the notification ring tone from my phone rang and a message icon appeared on the notification bar. He pulled the notification bar down keeping the phone on the bed so that even I could see. He tapped the message and it opened the same conversation he was reading, the only difference being that it had scrolled down to the newest message. It read,

BlackHeartedAngel
A gift awaits you on the porch. Hope you like it :)

I gasped loudly, my hand involuntarily covered my mouth. Zaid looked at me with his expression mirroring mine. A tear involuntarily made it's on my cheek but Zaid wiped it with the pad of his thumb.
