34 - PREFERENCE - on the ark.

[BELLAMY, FINN, JASPER, CLARKE, OCTAVIA.]

BELLAMY - You had never sat with Bellamy Blake in your whole education, it wasn't that you despised him, it was just the way the world worked. But then in your last week, exams looming, he decided to change that.

"Okay, tell me how to factorise this." He said, slamming his books on the desk next to you and sitting down.

"Excuse me?" You were brought out of your own little Maths bubble by the man beside you, whom you had never spoken to before.

"Come on Y/N, help a brother out," He smirked, a nervous smirk that hid all of the stress and lack of sleep you were all suffering from. Him calling you your name caught you out, sure you knew his name but you never thought he would know yours, "Please?"

"Let's have a look." You gave in to the positive aura that Bellamy was emanating, it somehow calms your stressful position. But you are good at maths, or at least better than Bellamy beside you. Together you solve the problem and thankfully end with the correct answer.

"Are you some kind of math genius?" He asked you as he rose from his seat but you didn't want him to leave, he was a well deserved break.

"Want to test your theory?" You ask him, before he can walk away.

"Is that an invitation?" He placed his books back on the table, raising an eyebrow.

"Is that a yes?"

FINN - Being Raven's close friend had its perks; Raven was a great friend, you both had a lot of fun together but it had its challenges, mainly one; Your undeniable massive crush on Finn Collins, her boyfriend.

You hung out with her on almost a daily basis after you both graduated but that meant you were subject to the sweet torture of seeing Finn daily.

And once, once it became almost unbearable. Waiting for Raven to finish her shift, you waited in her room as you have the spare key. You ideally lay on her bed playing with a stress ball when Finn let himself in.

"Raven, you gotta see this!" He sounded excited and it broke your heart.

"Sorry just me Finn." You told him as he entered the doorway, he stopped there and leaned against the frame.

"No need to be sorry, do you wanna see as well?" He smiled at you and you just couldn't say no.

"Alright, go on." You replied, sitting up and tapped the sheets next to you.

"Actually you're going to have to come with me." Finn slyly said and began to walk backwards out of Raven's room and into the corridor. You couldn't help it, you had to follow.

"Finn?" You called out as you peered out, Finn was stood by the window and you joined him at once seeing the beautiful space phenomenon happening before you. Space was changing into a spectrum of bright colours; purple, green, orange and everything in between, "It's beautiful."

"It is," Finn replied and you looked at him and the smile on his face and the glint in his eye. He looked over at you and his smile stayed and you mirrored him, Finn was contagious in that sense, you could never get enough of him. But his words always seemed to disappoint you, and the next were no exception, "I wish Raven could see this."
