(YN)'s POV:

'Why is love so complicated?' I asked myself and forced myself to drag my tired body to the bed at the back of the room. It had creme coloured covers and matching pillows. I laid down and I was out like a light, falling unconscious into a peaceful sleep.

I woke up with the virtual sun shining through windows in my room. There was also the sound of quiet chatter coming from nearby. I managed to, using my hearing skill, decipher their words, figuring out what they were saying. "What's our plan?" One of them asked.
"Well you now one thing, we need to report back to base." Another said to the first.
"Come on, let's just get this over with then." The third, and last, said, before I heard their footsteps retreating, meaning they had left down the hall. I didn't worry about it, I mean, what's the worse thing that could happen, I'm pretty sure we can all defend ourselves.

I equipped my armour, sliding out my room, before heading down the hall into another room, the one that had housed Liv and Max for the night. It wasn't surprising that they were already awake, playing made up games on the floor, but what did surprise me was the fact that Kirito was also there. He was sat on the end of one of the twin beds, watching as the pair played among themselves, covering the noise from my appearance. I tiptoed towards Kirito, managing to make no sound, though Max seemed to spot me, his pale face looking up at me hesitantly, though seemed to know what I was doing, stopping himself from looking at me any longer. He carried on playing with his younger sister, who seemed not to notice what he had been previously looking at.

As I reached arms length of Kirito, just like he did at the blacksmiths, I placed my hands on his face, covering his face, stopping his vision from looking anywhere past my hands. He seemed, somehow, to know that it was me. I quietly chuckled and as he peeled my hands off his face, he said, "(YN), what are you doing?" He sounded mischievous, like he was planning something. "You better run." And then, I ran for my life.

Liv's POV:

I watched as Mommy ran away from Kirio. Max was laughing as Kirio stood up and chased after her. I pushed myself up, grabbing my brothers hand, pulling him out the room, following Mommy and Kirio. Mommy was laughing as she ran around the empty street, Kirio hot on her tail. "Max? Can we chase Kirio?" I asked my older brother, my voice sounding innocent like it always was for a six year old.
"Fine. Ready... Go!" She said, getting over his fit of giggling. As soon as he said go, I ran after Kirio as quick as my small legs would let them.

Surprisingly I managed to keep up with the fast pace of their running, Max just slightly ahead of me, looking back every so often to make sure I was still there, making sure I was safe. We kept running, my breath coming heavy. Eventually we saw Mommy stuck in the corner of the street, Kirio nearing her quickly. Her (HC) hair was waving in the game air. Kirio slowed down as he got a fair distance away from her, a distance that he would be able to catch her at if she ran away. Max and myself ran quicker, still keeping as quiet. As we got close enough, we jumped on Kirio, clinging to his neck. He jumped in shock then calmed down, laughing when he turned around and saw us. Even Mommy thought it was safe to come out and see the three of us. She neared Kirio cautiously and when she saw he was paying more attention to the two of us, she came quicker and started walking normally.

I jumped off Kirio, landing safely, before running over to Mommy. "Mommy? Can we get the boys, like can I go on your shoulders?" I asked smiling up at her. She smiled and nodded, bending down, crouching, so I could sit on her shoulders. As she rose again, holding onto my tiny legs, I saw the boys had the same idea. Max was on Kirios shoulders and his smile was large, spreading ear-to-eat I recall it being called.
"Let war begin!" Max yelled and I pushed my hands on his, trying with all my might to push him backwards, at least a tiny bit.

We carried on, resulting in the boys winning, I swear it was only a bit though. I didn't let it get to me. I stayed cheerful and smiled like I always did, trying my best to make myself and everyone else happy.

(YN)'s POV:

After our battle I had to except that we had lost, though Liv didn't seem to be taking it too hard, as she was still smiling and being her normal cheerful self. Though it was a different story for me. Unlike how she was putting up with her brother, who didn't brag of say anything, I had to put up with Kirito. He gave himself bragging rights, teasing me playfully, though, who could stay mad at him long? "OK, OK! I know you won!" I said, trying to get him off my tail.
"Aw, you upset?" He said playfully. I punched his arm gently and he mocked hurt.
"What did I do to deserve this?" I said to myself. I felt Kirito kiss my cheek, and as I laid down, he laid down too, though his head was resting on my stomach, and I, smirking, started playing with his hair, though he still annoyed me, going on and go about his and Max's victory, eventually blocking him out, falling into a deep slumber, my hands resting in his onyx locks.

'It's because it only comes truly ones...' I answered myself.
