(YN)'s POV:

"Excuse me, but Olivia has awaken." My eyes (EC) widened and I ran towards the room Liv was inside. I reached her bedside and knelt down beside her laying form. She looked at me, her eyes widening as she saw me coming towards her.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." I whimpered to her, my (EC) eyes watering.
"Mommy, I missed you!" Liv managed to say between her own sobs.
"I missed you too Liv, I'm sorry, it's all my fault..." I choked out.
"Don't cry mommy." She was looking at my eyes, red and shiny with tears.
"O-Ok... I-I'll t-try..." I stuttered. I engulfed her in a gentle yet tight hug.
"Mommy, I'm tired, can I sleep?" She asked, the want to sleep shown in the way she asked her question.
"OK, I'll be right here when you wake up." I replied and stoked her blonde locks out if her face as she fell asleep. As she did, her brunette brother came forward and looked at his younger sister.
"I'm sorry Livvy." He said to her sleeping form.
"Hey (YN), you alright?" Not realizing that my black haired friend had entered the room, I jumped at the sound of his voice.
"Y-yeah, I'm just glad she's OK... Hey, are you OK, I mean, how did your fight go?" I said as I looked at his few cuts and bruises.
"Yeah, it's nothing, don't worry about me." He replied and he smiled gently, reassuringly even. He walked over to where Max and I were positioned at Liv's bedside. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head in the crook of my neck. I blushed lightly at his actions.
"K-Kirito!" I said embarrassed.
"I don't care, just relax." He replied, cutting me off before I could continue. I sighed deeply, knowing that there was no way I could win this battle.
"F-Fine..." I gave in. I felt him smirk in victory and I inwardly sighed to myself, waiting for Liv to wake up so we could go to an inn or something...

We waited for about an hour before Liv stirred from her sleep, rubbing her eyes and looking around the room cautiously. My mother came into the room at the same times she woke, coming over to check on her, making sure there wasn't a life threatening issue going on inside her. "I-Is she OK?" I asked tentatively.
"Yes, yes I believe she is fine, she will be well enough to take home in about half an hour." She clarified. I sighed in relief and nodded gratefully.
"Liv? I'm going to go and get some thing to eat, will you be alright with your brother and Kirito?" I asked her, turning my body in the direction of the young blonde girl. She thought for a moment before nodding then saying,
"Can you get something for me mommy?" She asked innocently.
"Yeah, OK then, I'll be back in ten minutes." I assured and turned around, facing the door.
"Be safe OK?" Kirito asked worried. I nodded and he bent down slightly as to kiss my cheek ever so gently. I heard someone clear their throat and turned to the source of the sound. It was my mum, looking at the two of us with one of her eyebrows raised,
"Mind explaining?" She asked, probably not taking 'no' as an answer.
"Er... Well..." I started but never finished.
"Yeah..." Kirito also said, scratching the back of his head gingerly.
"I'll want explanation when you get back (YN) (MN) (LN)." She warned playfully and I gulped, nodding quickly. She smirked and then let me leave.

Kirito's POV:

After (YN) left, it was all silent. "So... What was that?" (YN)'s mother, (MN), asked me
"Erm... Nothing really..." I stuttered.
"Didn't look like it." She replied and smirked, raising her eyebrows once again.
"I can't really explain it..." I murmured.
"I still want an explanation Kirito." She warned playfully. I smiled gingerly, only raising the very corner of my lips. After that, (MN) left the room to go to the front desk.
'That was close...' I thought.

As she said, (YN) was back in the time span of 10 minutes. Relief washed over me when I saw her in one price, no cuts or scratches that I had minor of. She had a small bag with her, her (ST) hands clutching the (FC) handle tightly, her knuckles pale. "I'm back!" She said to the room and everyone inside. Luv and Max both looked up at her sudden arrival and smiled brightly towards her.
"Yay!" The pair of them cheered and Max jumped of his sister as (YN) came towards them.
"What have you so been up to?" She asked playfully, raising her eyebrows.
"Nothing...!" They answered back in sync, their tone similar to (YN)'s.
"OK, OK, here you go..." She sighed before opening the (FC) bag. She pulled out two muffins that looked like chocolate, the batter dark brown and small price of the sweet stuff scattered around the top.
"Thank you!" Max said to her, smiling as she handed him it.
"Don't worry about it." She smilies back and hand Liv hers. She then walked over to me, sitting in an empty seat next to me. She rested her head on my shoulder, me placing my own on top of hers as we stayed in silence. Not an awkward one when you don't know what to say but a peacefully one, one that you could talk to each other without actually talking...
"What are you thinking about (YN)?" I broke the silence.
"Nothing... What about you?" She replied. I smiled at her bluntness.
"Same old (YN) I see." At this point I was smirking.
"Oh shut up." She teased playfully, pretending to be angry with me.

(YN)'s POV:

Later on in the day Liv was released. We were heading to the nearest inn, Liv on my back as to make sure she wasn't putting weight on her legs. Apart from that she was fine, letting us leave earlier than expected, as long as we went frequently. We reached the first inn we came across and entered, Kirito holding the door open as my own hands were full. "Do you have any rooms?" He asked. It was an everyday thing for him to ask this question as we changed inns everyday, getting around and exploring the world of Aincrad more. It was sooo exciting, noting the sarcasm of course. The inside foyer of it was nicely decorated, a few flowers here and there, paintings placed here and there along the crimson walls, a black, shiny piano placed in the corner. The person at the desk was a old man, probably in his 60's if he wasn't a NPC.
"I do believe so, how many would you like." He asked, I mean, he seemed friendly enough.
"Er... Two or three should be good enough for the four of us." Kirito assumed. I nodded gently in agreement.
"Well, I do have three but I can give you two. If you do decide on the two, go to floor two and go to rooms fifteen and sixteen. If you want the three take the two on floor two but also take one on floor one, room two. Once you've decided come back here and I can give keys." He said, smiling lightly at us.
"OK, thank you. We'll be back in two minutes." Kirito replied and we went to look at the rooms.

Room two on floor one was and OK size, though it was slightly small and was probably able to only house one person altogether. Room fifteen was slightly larger, still with only enough room for about two people, only a small double bed in the room. Finally was room sixteen. It was definite to larger than both the rooms, more housing space and room for more than one person. There was a small connecting kitchen attached to the room, making it look more like an apartment than a inn room. "I guess we'll just take the two...?" I said, accidentally making it sound mor like a question than anything else.
"I guess so, come on then, let's go." Kirito agreed and we walked back down the ebony staircases towards the front desk.
"Can we take the two rooms on floor two please?" I asked the man. He smiled and replied,
"Of course. That'll be 23,555 col." The blue 'O' and the red 'X' appeared in front of me and I clicked the 'O' with my finger, accepting the amount it cost. Really we would probably be staying here for a few days, as that was what the cost was, between three or four days. He handed us the silver set of keys and the four of us made our way back up the ebony staircase to reach the floor with our rooms located.

It became dark after about an hour, becoming late and probably time for Max and Liv to go to bed. They were in room fifteen with the small double. I placed the book I was reading on the bed and sat up. I walked out the door and opened the door to their room. The two children were sat on the floor, cross-legged, playing some sort of game. "Come on you two, it's late, goer into bed." I asked them. They obliged and got into the bed, pulling the covers up around themselves.
"Goodnight Mommy..." Luv managed to say between her yawning. I kissed her and her brothers foreheads gently and left the room, shutting the door gently, careful not to make any noise.

I got back to my own room to find my onyx haired friend flicking through my book. "Hey!" I - fake - gasped and he looked at me surprised.
"What? I was just reading?" He looked at me to see if I was serious or not. He must have seen it in my eyes or my smile as he just smirked and carried on looking through it.
"Please." I begged.
"How about no." He was looking at me now,
'Perfect chance...' I thought.
"Pwetty Pwease." I did my best 'puppy dog eyes' and he sighed, losing his eyes and threw the book at me. "What was that for?!" I asked accusingly.
"I thought you wanted your book back." He teased.
"Fine..." I said, giving up in a fight I wasn't going to win.

I jumped onto the bed and just laid there, feeling Kirito's presence by my side. This time, instead of it being interrupted by him, there was quiet knocking on the doors. "Come in." I said and the knocking stopped and it opened. There was Max, clutching his little sisters hand. Liv looked traumatised, looking like she had experienced something she never wanted to again, then again she had. "What is it?" I asked gently.
"We can't sleep." Max replied for the both of them.
"Come here then." I gestured to the bed and the two of them came over, both of them still holding each other's hand.the moved into the middle of the bed and laid down under the covers. Kirito and myself laid at the side of them, I was to Liv's back. One of my arms was stretched out over Liv, Kirito's doing the same over Max's, reaching for each other. They managed to reach over the distance and held onto each other's. My other hand was stroking Liv's blonde locks, like at the hospital, soothing myself and her making her drop into a sleep. I followed suit not too soon after, all four of us were then asleep on the bed together, calm and at peace.
