FOUR'S POV

I am smiling like an idiot. I don't know why and I don't care. On my way to Math, Zeke approaches me.
"Hey man, what the heck happened with Lauren last week? I didn't have time to ask you about it."

"Why? You were too occupied with Shauna?" I ask smirking. I start laughing when he turns completly red.
"Yes, but I am not here to talk about this."
My smile slowly fades. "So?" he asks.
I clear my throat. "Nothing," I tell him.
"I heard you were defending someone, more specifically a girl. May I know who's the lucky one?"

Now he's the one smirking. "You'll never know, my friend."
"Ooooh, little Four here actually has a heart. Who would have thought?" He shouts. I punch him on the shoulder and he immediatly stops. I laugh and continue my way to my class.

TRIS' POV

"What the hell was that?" Uriah asks.
"What's wrong? He deserves a second chance, just like you did." I say.
"Just be careful" he says. "He might tell you things that aren't true, and you know, try to pull us apart."
"And why would he do that?" I am now facing him. I am starting to get curious, and a little worried.

"Because he is Four."

-

The door bell rings. I get out of my bed and walk downstairs towards the entry. The door opens and suddently I am out of air.
"Four, what are you doing here?"
"I brought coffee and snacks. I figured we would get hungry while we study."

I look at him strangely. "I didn't think for one second that I'd see you here."

Now he's the one surprised. "Well, you told me to meet you at your house after shool to study, right?"
I laugh nervously. "Right. Come on in." Maybe Uriah was wrong. Maybe he truly wants to get better at school. He comes in and I close the door. He already knows where my room is so he doesn't hesitate on going upstairs.

He jumps on my bed and puts his hands behind his head looking at the ceiling.

"So, shall we start?" I ask him.
"We shall start" he immediatly responds.

FOUR'S POV

"Four? Four?!"

"What?" I totally spaced out.

"Are you sure these are the questions you want me to ask you? You seem to know all the answers" she tells me.

"Well yeah, I mean no... I don't know."
She sighs. "Why are you here, Four?"
"To study" I reply.
"No, why are you really here?"
Now it's my turn to sigh. I take a deep breath and go for it. "Maybe I just wanted to spend time with you." I then slowly lean in to kiss her. I first thought it was going to happen, you know, the kissing part, but man was I wrong. She quickly leaned her head back and stood up.
"Um, you should go." she says pushing away a piece of hair behind her ear. I awkwardly stand up and make my way to the exit. Before I could pass the door, I turn around so I can face her.
"Why are you still with Uriah, even after everything he has done to you?"

She looks confused. "What do you mean?"
"Oh, I guess telling you he cheated on you with my girlfriend wasn't a need to talk about. But you know, why would you believe me? After all I'm just a loser" And with that I get out.
