TRIS' POV

I see a car infront of my house.
I hear footsteps coming to my door.

My parents invited a man and his son for dinner tonight but I'll miss it because of my date.
My very first date.

Someone is knocking at my door. It must be Uriah. When I open the door he observes me from my head to my feet.
I wear a black dress with black high heels and I curled my hair but for my makeup I kept it simple; mascara and lipstick.

"Woah, you look... pretty" he says.
I laugh quietly.

"What," he asks me.

"Oh, it's nothing," I say.
"I was just expecting a little bit more than 'pretty'. But it's nothing." He sees my deception.

"Well, you look pretty... sexy!" he says.
That is not better.

"Thanks," I say not more satisfied.

Just the fact that Four's compliment was way better than Uriah's makes me want to laugh even more. But hey, I won't let that ruin my evening.

He took me to a chic restaurant. We are almost alone. He took a steak and I took a salad. Yeah, Four said I had to fix my alimentation too.

"Do I bring you the bills?" The waitress asks us.

Uriah looks at her from head to toe just like he did with me.

"Yes please" I say smiling.

"Do you pay separated?"

"Yes" Uriah says without giving me a look.

Well, okay. I never actually went on a date before but I thought guys were more... romantic? I mean that's what I saw in movies.

The waitress walks away and I can see that he is staring at his butt. I shake my head in deception. I won't let him hurt me. I stand up.

"What are you doing, Tris?"

I laugh.

"I am going to pay. Thank you, Uriah. This first date will forever be remembered as the best ever," I say with sarcasm.

After I pay I take my phone and text Four.

Hey, do you still want to study? -Tris

Yeah, but I thought you were with Uriah? -Four

I'll explain later. Meet me at my house in 10. -Tris

FOUR'S POV

"YOU DID WHAT?" I ask.

"I paid my dinner" she says. We laugh. She is pretty like that; she laughs so hard that her smile could almost touch her ears.

"And he was staring at the waitress' butt," she says more seriously. He hurted her feelings. But I don't care, right?

"Should I give him a second chance?" she asks me.

"I don't know. All I know is that Uriah isn't a bad guy."
I don't want to push her in his arms, but if she wants to give him another chance, I won't tell her not to.

"Thanks," she says shyly.
She changes the subject.
"Anyways. If I help you today it will be my turn tomorrow. You will help me with my Dauntless Training, you promised."

"Okay" I say. Her eyes are so beautiful, I could get lost in them.

Wait a minute.
You can't have feelings for her. That is not the relationship that you want.

That is not the relationship that you want

I cough. This is getting awkward.

"Maybe we should start now," she says.
"The test is in two weeks."

I sigh. This is going to be a looooong night.

I moan. I don't want to wake up, I want to stay here and sleep all day. I lay my head on a muscular arm. I open my eyes and
I
see
Four
asleep. He moans.

"Stop the alarm, for God's sake."
Few seconds later he opens his eyes and we look at each other in silence for a moment. I am the first one to get up.

"Um... I think we...-"
"Fell asleep," he completes me- I mean my sentence.
It's getting more than weird.

He gets up too.
"I will see you at school, Tris," he says awkwardly then leaves.

I can finally breathe the breath I was holding.
