Chapter 7: The Ball

A/N I'll be honest, I intended for this to be really short, I try not to update too soon, because I want more viewers, so please share the story and tell your friends.

It was the time of the CCG Ball, both Touka and Haise had their methods of getting ready.

Touka POV🐇

"Touka, do you have any plans for today?" Yomo asked.

"Ah, nothing much, I'm just going to a ball with Sassan, he told me that I would be safe since he has rc cells. So, I'll be fine, don't worry. If he wanted me dead, he would've done so by now." Touka said. Yomo nodded and headed out.

Touka took a shower and washed her hair. She got a curling iron to return it back to its bouncy way. Next, she put on a purple dress that reached her knees and put some tights on under it. She wore some black heels to match the outfit. After all of this, she put on a bit of mascara and lipstick.

"I'm ready to go" Touka said with a smile on her face.

Haise POV

"Maman, what are you going to wear?"

"Sassan is your girlfriend coming?"

"Sensei, when are we leaving?"

Urie just rolled his eyes at all of this while Haise laughed nervously.

Haise decided to just wear a simple tuxedo and push his hair back. He waited for the rest of his team to get ready. Once, they were ready they soon left. Touka met him at the CCG ball.

"Hey Touka-chan, you look like a goddess." Haise said while smiling.

"Hey you. Also stop exaggerating, I'm no where near. " she said smiling back at him. He wrapped his arm around her waist, while the pair were both smiling. The rc cell detector went off and they simply ignored him. This relieved Touka.

"I'm going to go get us some drinks, I'll be right back." Haise said.

An investigator pulled Touka's arm, the investigators danced with her and she giggled.

"I go for a drink and someone already steals my beautiful date?" Haise said while chuckling. The investigators spun her around once more into Haise's arm.

"You can't really drink this, so I'll give it to someone else, unless you can choke it down?" Haise said with a pout.

"Absolutely not. You already forced me to be here, you can't force me to do that." Touka said with a stern look on her face.

"Fine" Haise dumped out the drinks, and brought Touka to a corner.

"You know how I said you looked like a goddess, and you said I was exaggerating. Well no, you look really beautiful and others think so too. Many people have been staring at you." Haise said with his arm above her head. Touka flushed, whole looking away. Shirazu saw them in the corner and wolf whistled, Touka blushed harder and Haise just chuckled.

"Do you want to dance?" Haise asked.

"Sure, it might change the subject." She took his hand and danced to the classics music. Her hand on his shoulder and hand, and his hands on hand and waist. He leaned down and then something really annoying interrupted them.

"Hey Haise" said the strange female voice. She had blonde hair with brown eyes and was tall, taller than Touka at least, she had a great bust size and tiny waist. She was really beautiful, Touka thought to herself 'I can't compete with her'

"Hey Ayako, this is my GIRLFRIEND Touka." He emphasized the word "girlfriend".

"Hi, it's nice to meet you, I'm Ayako" The strange woman said in a friendly tone.

"I'm Touka, and the feelings mutual." She said with a forced smile. They smiled at each other while Haise just watched, the air was really tense.

"I need to pull Haise to the side then you guys can continue." Touka said as friendly as she could possibly be.

"Who the hell is she?" Touka whispered, yet in a loud tone.

"She is my ex girlfriend" Haise said nervously.

"Oh, well talk to her. Get it out of your system. I'd rather you do that, then go behind my back." Touka said annoyed. They walked back over to Ayako.

"Haise, you look very handsome" Ayako said while pulling on his tie. He released her grip.

"Touka and I are gonna go upstairs for now, we can talk anytime later, just give me a call." Haise said. Ayako seemed determined to get Haise back and get rid of Touka.

Haise and Touka ran upstairs. Touka didn't look at him and ignored him, she had an annoyed look on her face.
"Haise, you know she wants you back, right?" Touka said.

"I got that type of vibe as well, but we may be wrong, so lets just rest." Haise said while opening the door. The room was pretty neat, and the bed was very comfortable.

"Are you renting this from the CCG?" Touka asked. He nodded.

"Well, I don't have any clothes." Touka said.

"Don't worry, I got you some clothes, while I left in the morning." She kissed his cheek and he touched the spot and blushed.

"I'll go take a relaxing bath" she said while stripping. Just as she got in the tub, she heard a knock. She knew it was Ayako.

"Hello Haise, we really need to talk about something" Ayako said in a seductive tone.

"What is it?" He said while backing up and her moving towards him. He eventually fell on the bed with her on top of him.

"All of us know that I want you back, so I'll take you back." Ayako said.

"No, I love Touka now." Haise said. Ayako leaned down to kiss him snd just then did Touka walk in. Haise pushed Ayako off of him.

"Touka, I can explain." Haise said.

"There's nothing to explain, jackass. She is prettier than me and you want her back, so you can get her back, you bastard!!!" Touka said while storming off.
