Chapter 10:Dont Ask Why

Ayato eyes were pierced red and he stared straight at the ghoul investigator. He saw white and black hair and a nasty scowl formed on his face.

"Can I help you, motherfucker?" Ayato growled.

"Yes, because ghouls like you need to be disposed of, I hope you enjoy pain. I'll spare your life because you are Touka's brother, if you weren't. You would be dead" Haise said in a low voice.

Ayato simply just laughed at his response. He launched himself at the investigators, but Haise dodged. Ayato clawed at Haise face as Haise pushed Ayato's face down. Haise squished Ayato's face and Ayato spit at his face and growled. Haise split Ayato's pierced ear, just then a gasp occurred. Touka hugged Haise.

"Please let go of him." She said while hugging his back. Haise quickly got off shocked. Touka stopped hugging him and helped Ayato up. Ayato let out a nonchalant "tch". Touka straightened his hair and brushed his body, but Ayato took her hands and threw them off of him. He rolled his eyes and started walking and hunching his back like a wannabe gangster. Touka, obviously, chased after the boy. Haise sat on the ground looking at the stars. He saw Ayato squeeze Touka's arms and push her into the wall.

"Is there a problem going on around here?" Haise said

"Nothing, it's none of your business, no one was talking to you and this is between me and my sister." Ayato said.

"Touka is my girlfriend so whatever she is in, I am in." Haise said. He pulled Touka over to him and rested his chin on her forehead.

"No, but maybe you should go, Haise." He nodded and walked away.

"What the hell was that? Why would you kill in front of an investigator? Are you that much of an idiot?" She battered at him

"No, and you know how ghouls get when they're hungry. I would've killed the whole restaurant, if I couldn't eat that one homeless man" Ayato said with an annoyed tone.

She grabbed his arm and walked to a more secluded area. He shook off her grip, while she tried her best to hold on. Then he finally just let her hold onto him, with a huge scowl on his face.

"Why are you acting like this? In the restaurant you said you wanted to stop the hate game. Why do this now?" Touka said with annoyance.

"I can kill whoever I want when I please, if you have a probably with it, then you can just leave, I couldn't care less about you or stupid Haise." Ayato said while looking away.

Touka carried an angry expression on her face. The winds of the city were blowing her blue, bouncy hair through the breeze. While the wind made Ayato especially handsome. They stood there while Touka had a piercing gaze on her little brother. All he did was look away. Rain. It was rain that happened, it washed away the blood, while the winds were especially strong.

"Alright, you better get inside before you catch cold." Touka said with a quiet voice. Ayato looked at her, while she looked down. They both went inside and sat down next to Haise. The siblings were both very quiet. Haise reached to touch her arm. The waitress gave them their bill. He paid for it and left a small tip. He smiled down at the both of them. Haise took out his hand and Ayato shook it, then he hugged his sister tightly.
