"Can you stop staring at me like a total creep? It's weird." She said with a slight tone of discomfort. She felt uneasiness under his gaze, all of her insecurities popping up all at once.

"My bad! I was just distracted at how brew-tiful, you are." He laughed at his own joke and Touka just rolled her eyes.

"You are just a dork, I'm going to take a nap." She yawned quietly while waddling over to the bed.

"You kind of walk like a penguin, Touka-chan." He laughed at himself again and Touka glared daggers at him.

"I don't think you should be taking much since you did this to me." She said with her eyebrows furrowed. Haise scratched his cheek and laughed nervously. He walked over to the bed and laid with her.

"You weren't complaining much when we did it." Haise muttered. This caused Touka to hit him in the chest.

"You're such an ass." She said while cuddling next to him.

She was currently 9 months pregnant and could be expecting any time. He felt something....wet?

"Haise.....I think, I think that my water just broke." She said while clenching her shirt.

"What?" He said with a blank face.

"My water broke, hurry up and call an ambulance!" She said while gritting her teeth in pain. He quickly called an ambulance.

"It'll be okay, Touka-chan. Just breathe and relax." He held her hand and kissed her sweaty forehead. She hissed in pain. He whispered sweet nothings into her ear to calm her down.

A/N okay, so I'm not sure, but it seems like the baby will be human because Touka did eat human food. So yeah, the ghoul eyes won't show and it'll be fine, okay? Okay.

They quickly carried her out of the ambulance and into the hospital. Haise went in behind her. He entered the room.

"This could take hours." The doctor said casually.

"I know, I'm staying with her every single second." He said while holding her hand tightly. The doctors looked at Touka, he had changed into their uniform, put on the gloves, and even the mask.

(A/N- sorry for so many of these, but I have no idea how pregnancy goes, so let's keep rolling.)

"Push harder, Kirishima-san." The doctor said.

Touka let out a pained grunt. She pushed as hard as she could. She looked over to Haise whose eyes were filled with determination. After a couple of minutes, Yomo, Ayato, and Nishiki showed up. They all quickly raced to her side. Yomo held onto her other hand.

"Breathe, idiot." Nishiki said with a smirk. He gently patted her head and she gave him a pained smile. She started taking deep breaths.

"Don't think of the pain, think of our baby. Do you have a name in mind anyways?" He laid his head on hers and she shook her head with confirmation. Yomo stared at Haise. The boy who he once knew as Kaneki, of course Haise didn't remember him. His thoughts were soon interrupted by her screams in agony. She closed her eyes so the doctors wouldn't find out her secret. She pushed out as hard as she could and a head came out.

"Push harder, Touka!" Haise screamed in excitement. She squeezed his hand and did so.

"C'mon Touka, don't be a weakling now." Ayato muttered to himself while looking down at the floor. Moments later, Hinami came breathless.

"Onee-chan, I'm here." She said while huffing. Haise gave her a little smile. That little interaction was interrupted by Touka screaming again, the baby coming out deeper. She continued pushing out and the baby came out. Though a miracle, Touka passed out from it.

"Onee-chan! Will she be fine?" Hinami asked with a worried expression mirroring everyone else in the room.

"She should be fine, she is just exhausted. She did just give birth." One doctor answered with ease.

"You are her boyfriend, correct? Do you want to hold your baby?" A doctor signaled towards Haise with an eyebrow raised.

"Ah, y-yes! I would love to!" He let go of Touka's hand and waited until the baby was clean to hold him.

"You don't understand this yet, but you are very special to me. I feel like I'm not just a body with unforgotten memories anymore. You and your mommy mean the world to me." He cooed to the newborn. Haise soon let the others with the baby.

"He's so precious. What name did you decide on?" Hinami smiled at him.

"Well, that decision is left to Touka." He scratched his cheek nervously. Hinami handed the nameless baby to Yomo. Yomo being a man of few words said nothing, although in his eyes there was happiness. After a couple of minutes of holding the baby, he passed him to Nishiki.

"Oi, your mother may be a brainless nobody, you're pretty adorable." He rocked the baby in his arms and then soon handed him to Ayato.

"Try not to cry, chump." Nishiki said while handing the baby over.

Ayato let out a "tch". He held the baby and still had that defensive look on his face that he always held. He stared at the child and his expression softened. He then later handed him to  Haise.

"Thanks for coming for Touka guys, I bet she really appreciated it. Haise said nonchalantly. They all gave him responses of indifference.

After about half an hour, Touka fumbled in bed and rubbed her eyes. Haise went over to her and held her hand stroking it gently.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." He planted a head on her forehead.

"You're such a dork." She said with one eye closed.

"So, what're you gonna name the kid?" Ayato said looking to the side.

"Maybe...Kane. I like the sound of it, I think." She said simply.

"It has a ring to it, Kane it is." Haise said smiling at her.

"What an awful reason, you really are dumb, Touka." Nishiki said teasing her. A pillow was thrown at his face seconds later.

The group laughed with each other, happy with what happened. It was a new beginning. The son of the one eyed king. A change from their usual torn reality.
