Chapter 17: Steven Black

Scarlett's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning stretching out, ahh man was I still kinda tired . It's Saturday and Halloween is over and my birthday. Which are both sad to think of. Last night was honestly quite amazing , I got to meet a ton of new people like the guys families and there little brothers. Which by the way are both Charlotte and Violets ages. They seem like nice boys , maybe I'll bring the girls over one day to hang out with them. Slater looked really adorable last night and he stayed beside me the whole night , even when that creepy dude came over . I believe his name was Steven Black. He was totally beyond creepy and my mom seemed pretty pissed when he showed up . She even said he wasn't welcome and to never be around us. I wonder why that was , you know he did hand her a note . I wonder what it said and why she hated him. Maybe I should talk to Marcus he's pretty smart and seems to know a lot maybe he can help me find out who this weirdo is.

I got up from bed because I didn't want to stay in bed thinking so much , so I grabbed my phone and texted Slater.

"Heyyyyy!!! GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! Are we gunna hang today?"

I sent the message and went and got ready for the day and when I came back I got a text back from him.

" Hey !! You do realize it's like 2pm but good afternoon to you sleepy head! Lol. And yeah we can hang today come over when your ready. :)"

I looked at my clock "damn it , it is 2:30 "
I guess I'll just grab something to eat and head out . I put my phone in my pocket and went down stairs to the kitchen . I Made some chicken fingers and left the house . I actually hope Marcus can help me figure out what and who this StevenBlack is .

Slaters P.O.V.
I was sitting in the living room with the guys texting Scar when I realized she left me on read. Not that I'm upset or anything about it but I may kinda hate being left on read. But hey she's coming over today . Last night was fun ! And she looked so beautiful, quite stunning actually. All I've herd all morning were jokes by the guys about me and her last night . You know I feel like me and her are starting to get pretty close . I started to smile to myself when Nate snaps his fingers in front of me .

"Umm Slater someone's at the door " Nate said

"Oh ? Okay I'll get it " I said

I got up and headed toward the door I could smell her scent as soon as I got up . So I jogged toward the door and opened it smiling.

"Hey there beauty queen , catch enough Beauty sleep?" I asked chuckling

"As a matter of fact I did it was quite peaceful " she said

"Welp why don't you come in " I said opening up the door for her and giving her a big hug . Then I took her into the living room with the guys and sat down on the the couch next to her.

"Hey guys " she said smiling at everyone

"Hey" they all said

"Hey Marcus can I ask you a question " she said Shyly

"Sure ?" He said

"Do you perhaps know who Steven Black is ? "

All the guys heads snapped to her.

"Umm , why do you wanna know who he is ? " Marcus asked

I gave him a question mark look cause I honestly don't know who the guy is myself , all I know is he looks really creepy and I kinda met him last night.

"Slater man you don't know who that is ?" Nick said

"Uh no besides him being extremely creepy and me and Scar here met him last night." I said

Marcus shook his head and looked at me like I was a ass

" Steven Black is known as a hunter , he's also considered a witch . Which with both mixed together comes something terrible . You see he is probably one of the most feared people known in the supernatural world. One time I herd he took out a whole town , just to get rid of an enemy"

I herd Scar gulp, as did I cause um taking out an entire town just to get an enemy is pretty ruthless.

"So do you think it's bad he gave my mom a note last night ?" She asked looking at Marcus then up at me

Steven Blacks P.O.V

I sat up in my house staring out into the trees.
Dianne Rose that old bat , oh how I hate that woman and her whole family's existence. Ever since we were children it has been a contest between us, and she has always bloody won. All because her bloodlines are ancient and powerful that just becomes greater in time. To me that whole family is disgusting and are nothing but a bunch of mutts. Oh and her precious Red Queen, whose never left her mommy's side. Queen she's no Queen. She's been in hiding for the past 10 to 15 years. But who can blame her when her husband died in her arms after that vicious wolf attack.

He chuckles

Although I do get the satisfaction of orchestrating such an event. Even though those mangey dogs didn't get the job done the way I wanted it, it did go down in a bit of a better way , all in all he's gone and the Roses were in hiding for quite a long time. And now that I know that they are all out of hiding , especially the queens three daughters. There going to be seeing me a lot more then they think . Especially the oldest girl Scarlett , she appears to be the strongest one out of the whole family . It would be a shame if she were to disappear. To bad mommy dearest didn't let her read my note. I suppose she knew what would happen if she did . No matter it's all in a matter of time that I claim there power.
