Chapter 6: Friday's Full Moon

Scarlett's P.O.V

I woke up to my alarm clock going off, I hit the button to shut it off quickly, I then headed to the shower. 20 minutes later I came out and got dressed, Putting on another black tee shirt and skinny jeans with some converse. Today I had chem class. I brushed out my long black curly hair. I dried it a bit and then scrunched it to make it look like it always did. After I was done with getting ready I grabbed my books and went downstairs. I felt really sick today my body ached and I had a terrible headache. I said my goodbyes and was out the door and drove off to school.

I got to school and went straight to my chem class. When I was in class I felt really cold but then I felt really hot at the same time. Like if I was having hotflashes.I looked over and started haveing a conversation with my friend Alyssa.

"Scarlett are you okay? You dont look so good." she looked at me wide eyed

"Yeah, I think I'm just getting sick"

"Oh, well here take an asprin"she handed me the medicine as I took them.

"Thanks, so any plans for tonight?" I asked her

" No not really I heard theres going to be a full moon tonight so maybe I'll see that for a bit.''

"Oh I think I'm just going to watch some TV and fight off this sickness"

I then looked at the board and wrote down the notes. After we were done I walked out of class.

The Red Queen's P.O.V

I stood their watching my daughter in her classroom in pain.

"You know shes not actually sick darling" Mother said

"But Mother I do think she may have caught the flue''

" She did not catch the flue! Her body is evolving and you know it. It's only a matter of time before it is complete. Besides tonight is the full moon, and today is the day you will tell those girls what they really are. Or I shall"

I looked at my mother for a long time studying her golden grey hair. My mother had these hazel eyes that never made up their mind what color they wanted to be. She was fair skinned and didnt look a day over 50. I finally made up my mind and let out a long frustrated sigh.

"Your right mother today will be the day they will find out what they really are."

Scarlett's P.O.V

I stopped in the hall and felt a terrible sharp pain in my ribs.

"I have to get home now." I said to myself and started to walk towards the door when I bumped into something hard. "What the Hell!" I looked up to see Salter Wild." Dude you seriously need to take my advice." I said to him wincing in pain

"Sorry again, Hey you don't look so good are you okay?" he asked

"Oh I'm just peachy, Please move, I really have to go home before I can't move''

He looked at me questionly

"Well do you want me to take you home?"

"Slater I dont even know you that well and my mom would kill me, thanks but no thanks"

" Okay then just thought you might need some help, but let me atleast walk you to your car to make sure your okay."

"Fine."

We then walked out of the building to my car. When we were walking it hurt so much to walk, even breathing hurt. Slater kept quiet the whole time walking to the car. When we finally got to the car he took out a piece of paper and wrote down something on it. When he was done he handed it to me,

" Well I hope you feel better Scarlett, and text me and let me know if you feel better when you get home." He smiled at me

I nodded my head and said goodbye and drove home.

Slaters P.O.V

After I left Scarlett I walked back in the building to go to my gym class. When I met up with the guys."She's changing" I said rushing over to them

"How could you tell" Marcus asked

"She didnt look like she did yesterday. She was all red in the face and extremely pale, she's changing I just know it."

" Aww man and tonights the full moon." Nick said

"Its going to be one painful transformation for her tonight."

We all noded and then headed home after we were done with class.
