Chapter 5: Dinner Time

Scarlett's P.O.V

"Girls it's time for dinner!!" Mom screamed upstairs

"We're coming" I said and then knocked on the girls doors "come on you guys it's time for dinner." I said and went down the stairs and sat down at the table"mmm mom you made lasagna" I smiled at her

"Yeah I did" she smiled at me back

The girls came down and sat at the table with me grandma and Mom.

"So ladies how was your day at school ?" Grandma asked

"My day was like usual filled with annoying people " Violet said

"School was okay didn't really do anything different " Charlotte said

"I walked out of class and then bumped into this guy" I said

"Scarlett Rose why did you walk out of class and who's the guy?" My mom questioned

"First of all I just want to point out that class was already over I just simply told the professor it was over. The guy on the other hand who bumped into me was kinda strange but cute, he told me his name is Slater Wild. I had seen him and his friends earlier today but kept walking. " I had explained to my mom and then started eating my dinner

"Huh next time be nicer to your professor " she said and stayed quiet

I nodded and then finished diner and washed off my plate and then went for a walk.

We lived by the woods so when I was younger I'd always walk around the woods with my sisters, playing tag and all those games. I'd always be the one to hide in the trees, I'd try not to laugh when my sisters ran past me.As I got older I just started to walk to my favorite tree and climb up to the top and just think. That's what I was going to do today, I climbed up the tree and just sat there and thought.

Slaters P.O.V

"Relax guys there's only enough food for all of us." I said

"Dude we hardly eat during the day so dinner time I'm going to eat as much as I can especially since it's steak." Nick said

"Agreed " the twins said

We all started eating until I brought her up

"So I found out her name" I said with a smirk

"Oh really?" Erik said

"Yeah her names Scarlett Rose " I said

"Huh so how did you meet her?" Marcus said

"Well you see I was heading to art class when I accidently bumped into her"

"Accidentally Smooth bro" Nick said putting up air quotes

"Shut up " I smacked the back of his head and continued"she is not very shy at all either she was very sarcastic and witty with me "

They all laughed and we continued eating. After we were done we all went out for a run in the woods. Me and Nick had shape shifted into our wolf form and the twins ran with us.

Nick was the big grey wolf and I was the big black one. As we ran through the woods I stopped in my tracks cause I smelled her scent. The guys all looked at me "do you smell her "I said in our mind link

They all nodded "she's very close"

Scarlett's P.O.V

I sat in the big tree terrified. I saw two huge wolfs and this big blur run past the tree. How can a wolf possibly be that big ? And why are they running so fast . What was that huge blur ? There were so many things running through my mind I had to go home right now. I climbed down the tree half way and jumped off. I ran home as fast as I could. When I got inside my mom was in the living room when she herd me slam and lock the door.

"Scarlett back so soon from your walk." She asked

"Y-yeah it was getting dark and I wanted to come home and go to sleep." I said quickly and ran up the stairs to my room

"Scarlett are you ok?" Violet asked stopping me in the hall

"Yeah I'm fine." I said and quickly went in my room and climbing into bed

"It wasn't real it wasn't real" I kept whispering to myself until I fell asleep
