Chapter 12:Scenses

Scarlett's P.O.V

I woke up on Monday morning. Today was my day off because honestly who wants to go to school on Mondays. I went to go put on my glasses and when I did, it was more blurred then helpful. So my vision was much better without them because usually it's kinda blurry. "Oh well" I shrugged and I got up. Something smelt really good, like flowers. I walked downstairs and saw my mom sitting at the dinning room table.

"Good morning mom" I said

"Good morning, your up earlier then usual"

"Yeah I just woke up.... so mom I have a question." she nodded at me "So how can you tell if there's another supernatural being near you?"

"Well have you noticed that your senses have inceased?" I nodded " Well they have much stronger then they have before, if you ever run into another supernatural you will notice it immediately, supernaturals have very potent scents."

"I wonder what I smell like " I laughed a little

"You've always had this flowery scent about you Scarlett your sisters don't their scents are both different, everyone's is."

"So is their a increase in sight with these new senses?"

"Yes there has to be. Your eyes have to stay sharp, for hunting and to see clearly Incase of any danger. you will also notice your hearing will be incredibly sharp too"

"I see thanks for telling me mom see ya later" I waved goodbye and walked up stairs and into my room.

I grabbed my phone and the peace of paper Slater gave me and typed and saved his number in my phone. I then texted him

"Hey Slater it's Scarlett, just wanted to say hey and I'm much better"

"Hey glad to hear your better are you at school?"

"Ew school on Mondays never that"

"Haha lucky you, anyways what are you doing today?"

"Not much just hangout with my mom and sisters, how about you?"

"Oh that's nice, I'm at school for another hour and a half then me and the guys are going to hang out like usual."

"Oh that's cool, you and your little crew. They seem cool I think."

"Haha little crew? we are more of a group. and cool? Im the coolest one haha"

"Haha well don't flatter yourself but I'm going to go later Slater"

" You know it's not flattering if you already know it's true, see ya later."

After I was done texting Slater I had to go to training with the girls and Brianna and Brad. We learned the steps again until we had to get it perfect. after that we all went and had dinner and after that I was already so tired I just took a shower and went to bed early.

The next day

I woke up to a very annoying alarm clock.I slammed the off button a bit too hard and I heard a crack. Dammit. I got up and started getting ready. Today I felt like wearing something nice. First I curled my hair and then put on some make up then I grabbed a pair of my black leggings with a white shirt and put on my maroon leather jacket and boots. After I was done I was really hungry which never happens cause eating this early usually gets me sick. but this morning I felt like I was starving so I went into the kitchen and grabbed a bag of grapes and ran out the door and drove to school.

When I got to school I parked but didn't really rush to class. I walked across campus to my class I was not excited for my classes then again who would be. When I got to class it was really boring, but my mom was right about the whole improvement on my senses . I didn't need glasses and I could hear everything loud and clear even whispers. the hardest part was the scents everybody has. although everyone in my class was clearly all normal. after class I had a hour and a half left so maybe I'll just walk around school.
