Chapter 1 : Happily Ever After

Merida's P.O.V

As the sun rose, I woke up from my slumber. I quickly went to the bath room to take a quick bath, brush my teeth and change my clothes. I dashed outside my room and headed downstairs into the kitchen to grab some apple and head to the stables to clean and set up my horse.

We headed out of the kingdom and went into the woods, Angus was dashing in an incredible speed, the wind lashing against me. I raised both of my hands up in the air, brushing the leaves of the trees, I didn't bring my bow and arrow like I usually do, except for a sword, well, I always have a sword by my side if I don't have my bow and arrow. This is an unusual day for me.

Everything has changed, Ever since a few days ago when my mom and I defeated Mor'du and mother finally turned back into a human again.

Then the next day, While mom and I were working on our new tapestry, we heard that the three lords along with my suitors are leaving the kingdom to return back to theirs. My mother and I rode in our horses as we watched their ship sail away.

Meanwhile, my father had to catch up with the three little boys who used our smallest ship and followed the three others. He might be back in a couple of weeks. I bet dad is going to stay in their kingdoms for a while. Even though the three of them are allies, they most likely act like brothers. Who play fights and fool around with each others. I chuckled at the thought.

And in the 4th night, the witch's wooden bear carvings I ordered arrived. I forgot about how I bought all the carving. I gave some to my people, and I could see that they loved it. Everyone's happy.

My mother and I got really close nowadays. We would sometimes make jokes while eating, she doesn't care anymore if I chortle or act like an improper young lady. We were happy. And this is exactly what I have always wished for.
