Chapter 4 "Your love keeps lifting me"

I woke up to the song "Higher and Higher", Everything was a blur, "Am I dead?" "Is this Heaven?" "She's awake." I heard someone yelling, "Oh Iris am so sorry, I should have listened to you." "Are you my Guardian angel?" I said to the blur. "No Silly, it's me Betty!" "Betty?" "Yes, you kinda got a concussion." "WHAT!" "Calm down, the doc said you will be all right." All of a sudden Betty starts singing "Teenager in love, by Dion and the Belmonts". "WOW, Betty you're a good signer." I said and she started to blush, "You really think so?" "YES!" All of a sudden I felt sick in my stomach. "Here's the bucket." Betty said and gave me the bucket and I got sick, "Ugh." I tried to get up but I felt dizzy. "You need to sleep cupcake." A voice said, then someone came into the room, "MOM!" I said with excitement, "You took a good hit, Iris." "Know it's time for you to get some rest." She said as I yawned and fell asleep. I woke to Betty fan girl screaming, "OH MY, IT'S THE FOUR SEASONS!" "UGH." I yawned, "OH Iris, you're awake!" I gave a smile, Pastor Mike was sitting in the corner, "Hey Iris, me and the church heard all about your concussion, were terribly sorry." "Oh it's okay, Pastor Mike." After he prayed for me and left I quickly asked Betty "How long have I been out?" "Oh well lets see," She started counting out the days, "Hm, you been out since last Monday, today is Monday." " I been out for a whole week!" All of a sudden Rick came walking in with his portable CD Player, the song "In the still of the night, by the Crests" was playing, "Um, I will leave you with him-" Betty said will her head quickly fell down, "Wait, Betty, don't leave me here!" But it was too late, "So Sweetie-" "DON'T call me that!" I said interrupting what he was about to say, "Um, well What were you going to tell me the other day about John and his 3:16?" This was my chance I thought to myself, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son and who-" The I noticed something he was about to pick me up and then he started to sprint out of the hospital, I screamed "HELP!" the nurses and doctors quickly tried to catch up to Rick, but it was too late, for he already throw me into the back seat of his cherry red Chevrolet. I was getting kidnapped by this crazy person! "I decided to take you out of state-" He said and I started to scream "I don't wanna leave OHI-" before I could finish he put tape over my mouth. "He can follow our own rules and never have to worry about all that churchies." He turned on the radio and turned it all the way up "The wanderer by Dion and The Belmonts" started playing, right before we were about to leave my home town I seen Betty, walking on the street, I tried to scream, with the tape on my mouth, she heard me and quickly ran towards the car, "IRIS, What did he-" Rick speeded off past the red light, I noticed something Betty was in the car, we'll I kinda, she was on the back, her red high heels fell off, Rick put the roof up and she fell into the back seat with me.
