CH3

AKIRA P.O.V

"Are you awake now?" I asked as I watched her eyes wondering around trying to make sense of what she was seeing.

"Try not to get up too quickly, you're still badly hurt." I placed the tray of food I had for her on a nightstand next to the bed and aided her. She still haven't made a sound but I knew that she was in pain and confusion.

"You're in my room, at my house. I couldn't find out where you live or who to contact so I brought you to my place..." I explained. She gave me a blank face

"...Hope that's okay " I finished. Her eyes were still emotionless which made the situation awkward for me. I was still holding her back so I let her go when she began searching for her shoes on the ground.

" Eat something before you move, you've been sleeping for four hours straight. I was afraid you wouldn't wake up". I took the tray and knelt in front of her as I held it. She stared at me for a moment, scanned the food then back to me.

" I-if you don't like it I can bring something else. What would you like to eat?" I could tell that she wasn't interested in staying here and I bet her parents were worried sick but I just couldn't let her leave like this. She was hurt because of me and I just wouldn't stand for it. If she hated me I wouldn't blame her but I was worried sick as well.

" if you don't want me here I can tell someone else to come but please, at least eat something before leaving" with that I stood up and left with the tray.

Her impassive eyes made my chest tight. I knew it was wrong of me to ask her to stay after being bitten up by my so called 'club' for the 'kiss' stunt I pulled earlier in class on her but... seeing her the way she was, how could I let her go?

They had put bruises on her once perfect heart shaped face. The bruises were a multitude of hues. There were still garish purple splotches, roughly the size of a fist around her eyes, while others were more grayish, but still looked just as bad. Her moist peach lips had become a dead dry pale red. And it wasn't just the bruises. There were scars, too. Lines across her body, my sister had informed me ealier when I brought her home that her entire body was covered in gashes, like someone or something had dug it's nails into her, tearing her flesh. Someone had clawed away at her, the bandages told the whole story. I could hardly bear to look at her.

I walked out of the room and met with Tiger who had brought a new uniform for her to wear about to enter. I closed the door behind me and before I could say anything to her she stated bluntly not caring that the bruised girl could hear

" Don't think I'm looking after her for you. I don't care who she is or why she's here but since it's your fault look after her yourself"

"She wont say anything to me. She's upset, please baby sis..." I held the tray in front of her pleading.

"...Please? I could barely bring myself to look at her sis, how am I supposed to care for her when it was my entire fault she was so badly hurt? If I hadn't kissed her none of this would've happened. Worst of all the girl hasn't made a single sound so how am I supposed to even understand what she needs? I mean I know it''s-"

" You kissed her? Ash! Unbelievable. You just met! I'm surprised they actually didn't kill her, did you forget how obsessed girls are over you?! How could you be so careless? Are you stupid? Ash! Ahhh! Ash!" She yanked the tray and stormed into my room slamming the door behind her.

I could understand her anger, last time when I pulled off a similar stunt the poor girl was hospitalized for months, I thought maybe because this was Korea nothing would happen but I guess every country is the same in one way or another. I can't believe how idiotic I am.
