The light swung violently from side to side above our heads, we both had our eyes shut because of the sudden contrast, just a moment ago I was about to smash this torch into a wall and now, I was trying to shield my eyes from the sudden god sent of light.

Sparks were thrown aimlessly across the ceiling, the light was caged in, a black chandelier with beads hanging from each arm, threw shadows on the floor as it swung back and forwards, from behind me someone grabbed my arm, they pulled me backwards and when my back hit the wall I looked at them to see Julie watching the light cautiously, she didn't have long though; the light disappeared just as quick as it had occurred.

We were left in complete darkness, but I felt Julie's hand still on my shoulder and I fumbled with the tiny switch on the torch, the light beam trembled as a result of my shaking hands.

Julie was already talking into her device, "did anyone do that?" she said angrily, although it was hard I could definitely make out twenty different people saying 'no.'

So if it wasn't them turning the lights on, who was it? Alex?

I was off before anything else could happen, towards the control room that Grace showed me to when she was looking after me on a day off, Julie screamed after me, "Cameron what are you doing? Come back!" I felt bad for leaving her in the dark but now I knew where she was, there was no stopping me.

I followed the track because I knew that the door was somewhere on the right after a mummy and a coffin, I shined the torch at the right of the wall but kept to the track, not knowing if I was on the right side of the track.

Purple lights flickered either side of the metal rails, some were bright, as if they hadn't just been sat here for years, others flickered to life slowly, starting out dim and white but soon became a brighter more vibrant purple, however some didn't even spark, they just stayed black and broken, I had only a few moments to take in the many purple lights I saw stretched before me because they were snapped off with a click of a switch, but returned moments later, they were turned on and off for a period of time before staying bright and gleaming.

I could no longer hear Julie calling me, maybe she had given up, knowing that John would be mad at me, I kept on and by the time I saw the same mummy twice yet no door, I decided to change directions.

Alex's POV

Stranded in the middle of the room and slowly freezing in my completely unsuitable wear for this occasion, I watched Ollie from a side view, I sighed in relief when I had put my pounding head down on the floor.

He mumbled to himself, swearing and growling, and then he looked at me, I gulped and shuffled away, using my right hand to push me back.

It took him exactly two steps to reach me, as he took extraordinarily huge strides, he stood above me but I kept my eyes on his feet, one hovered hesitantly before picking up all the way and kicking me in the stomach.

The wind left my body and I was in spasms on the floor trying to regain it, "wakey wakey babe" Ollie sneered, I whimpered into the floor and he held my hair while I prepared myself for the pain.

Quickly, I put my hand on his to relieve some of the pain when he decided to pull me up, but he didn't, I opened my tightly shut eyes, which were on the floor and suddenly I was dropped, my face made impact with the stone hard ground, I felt the rest of my head fall on top of my noes and I shrieked into the cloth.

I felt the material of my dress being lifted off of my back and me with it.

I took deep breaths as I was lifted up, he set me on my feet but I immediately collapsed into him, he seemed to enjoy that because, he hugged me to him and ran his lips from my ear to my shoulder, I struggled in his grip but was unable to fight him off.
