Luke's POV

It takes a while but eventually we make it to the car. Addie is so cute. Her hair is pretty straight, but the pieces around her face are curling giving her little ringlets. Whatever Mickey said to her made her relax a lot. Before if any of us came near her she'd flinch back and tremble, now she just stiffens a bit.

"I'll drive. Calum it's your turn for shotgun... Mickey, Luke and Addie y'all get the back." Ashton grabs the keys from Micheal and we all climb in. Micheal whispers something to Addie, then carefully picks her up and puts her in the booster seat we'd bought on our way to the hospital.

I jump in behind Michael and we head home.

We pull up to the flat and I realize 2 things: we have no food and nothing for Addie.

"ummm guys... Remember how we were gonna buy food today? And stuff for Addie tomorrow..." I trail off. Micheal and Addie head inside and the rest of us follow trying to determine the best course of action.

"Calum and I can get food. You can get essentials for tonight, and Micheal and Addie can order everything else online since she can't easily go shopping. We can get everything delivered tomorrow. And the painters can come tomorrow too." Ashton explains to Calum and I while we walk in the building and head up the elevator.

Micheal agrees with the plan so Ashton, Calum and I call cars and bodyguards so we can shop without being bombarded by fans. Addie is just sitting on the couch completely zoned out. She looks completely exhausted. I walk over to her slowly, and then bend down so I'm at her level.

"Hey Addie, did you want to lay down and have a little nap? Mickey's going to be the only one here, and he won't ever hurt you." She looks torn. I can see how tired she is, but she doesn't want to let her guard down. "It's ok, no one is going to hurt you." I gently take her hand. I can feel her tense up, but I pick her up and carry her down the hall to what was the guest room. I set her down on the bed and tuck her in.  "Please try and sleep. You look exhausted" I turn out the lights and close her door. The cars are here so we head downstairs.

I'm in Target, (a/n I'm assuming they have target in Australia... if they don't then he's in whatever Target like store they have) standing in the girls section trying to find stuff for Addie. I grab some cute t-shirts and some leggings. I decide to get her a couple sweaters and dresses. I find a pair of frozen PJs and put them in my cart. By the time I'm done getting clothes, I've filled a full cart. I give that one to one of my bodyguards, and grab another one. I head to the toys section and fill another cart with games, toys, books and art supplies. I give that one to another bodyguard and grab a 3rd cart for bedding stuff. I get blankets, pillows and a teddy bear for her. When that cart is full I head to the checkout. My phone buzzes in my pocket.

Cal-Pal to Band - almost done with groceries... all kids like KD right?!?

Mickey to Band - she's better.. I might have to disown her if she doesn't

Ash to Band -  WE GOT OREOS

Lukey to Band - I'm finished clothes shopping! I got frozen pjs

C to B - we're headed home

L to B - me too

M to B - b quiet coming in... she's still sleeping

I pay for the clothes, toys and bedding and walk out to the car. As I'm walking the paparazzi show up and start screaming. I keep my head down and ignore their questions. We decided we'd announce that we'd adopted Addie together on Ellen in a few weeks.

I make it to the car and the driver heads home.
