The little library was usually a bit dim, but now it was even darker. The lights had been turned off and the only illumination came from the candles. The librarian stood at the door, waiting for Rob's signal. He was stood at the other end of the room with the book containing the instructions for the ritual in one hand. While they had been setting the ritual up, Rob had informed her of everything he knew on what was going on.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Rob asked. The librarian nodded.

"Of course. How dangerous can it be, right?" She said, trying to smile. She was unsure why she was helping him. This whole thing seemed mad but...She felt she could trust him. Rob gave her a weak smile.

"Well then, head out when you're ready." He said softly. The librarian nodded again and took a deep breath before opening the door and stepping outside.

"Hello!" She called as loud as she could. "Anyone there? You there, evil knight? You want to come play?" She said, feeling rather odd, but this was all she could think to say. She stopped and stood still for a moment, trying listen out for the creature's approach since she could see very little through the fog. She was about to call out again, when she heard it. The sound of metal rubbing on metal. The noise of a heavy foot hitting the floor. She froze where she was and looked around her, trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. She noticed something out of the ordinary. Two red dots had appeared in the fog. They were small but quickly growing big. Growing bigger as the noise got louder. She didn't know what to do. It seemed to be coming for her. She made a decision and quickly darted back into the library.

"It's coming." She called to Rob, moving inside and getting behind her desk, not really wanting to get face to face with this thing. Rob looked down at the book, making sure he knew what he needed to say.

In It strode. The creature that had once been a proud knight stood in the doorway. It was fully clad in armour. It was an ornate set that covered every part of his body except for a small slit where his eyes were. The rest of the helmet was slender and plain. On top of it were two horns. Once they had been straight and impressive, but something had twisted them out of shape and they were now bent out at odd angles and ended in spikes. Plates of curved metal that resembled shells were on Its shoulders, knees, and elbows. They gave off a lot of noise as they moved. The fingers of Its gauntlets ended in sharp spikes as did the tips of Its boots. The armour's original colour had been lost and it was now jet black, a colour It seemed to have got from being badly burned. Into the cinged armour, small symbols had been carved. While they may have had some meaning at one point, they meant nothing to anyone living in the modern world. On Its back was a sword. It was a very chunky thing that would have to be wielded in two hands. It was scorched black like the armor and had carvings in it. The creature slowly surveyed the room, taking in all there was in it. Its eyes quickly locked on Rob. He was the one It was searching for. It slowly made Its way towards him, Its armour making a lot of noise as it walked. Rob took a deep breath. He'd only have one shot at this. It was now or never. As the creature entered the triangle, Rob spoke.

"By the power of the ancient kings." He said loudly. In his voice one could hear his fear. "I command that this body takes in this lost soul and let's it take control." The pendant started to glow again and the knight began to chuckle.

"Thank you mortal, oh thank you very much." He said, continuing to laugh. The body of the creature stood where It was, Its body convulsing. The light from the pendant slowly leaked out of it and floated up to the creature's face. It seeped in through Its eyes. The knight continued laughing as he moved into the body. All of a sudden he was quiet. The horrible noise came from the creature's mouth, a strange gurgling noise. After a moment the noise stopped and the knight spoke in a hoarse voice.
