It's a ......!

The Weasley's were all sitting in the lobby, except for Mr. Weasley who was pacing. They were all waiting for their new family member to come into the world. Fleur, Andromeda, Hermione, and Angelina were discussing baby names for Ron and Hermione's baby. George and Bill were trying to keep Teddy and Victoire occupied. Ron was reading a copy of the Daily Prophet that had just flew in a few seconds before.

There was just the buzz of conversations until there was a shout. "OY!" yelled Ron. He was holding the paper away from himself. "Ronald, don't yell in a hospital. What's the matter with you?" said Mr. Weasley angrily. Ron stood up to show his father a page of the newspaper. "Look! Someone tipped off the Prophet that Ginny had gone into labour! There's a paragraph here about it!" he told the family. There were small bursts of outrage. Mr. Weasley grabbed the paper from his son's hand and read the paragraph. "Oh Merlin. They said that they would have more information on the birth tomorrow!" said Mr. Weasley. There were some more outbursts. There were some serious discussions of protest.

As they were discussing this, Victoire started to tug on Fleur's pant leg. "Maman, what is that big thing that that man is carrying?" she asked curiously. Fleur and Andromeda looked down at the little girl. "What man, ma chere?" she asked. "That man going towards Aunt Ginny's room." she answered, pointing to a man sneaking into the Pregnancy Ward.... with a camera.

Fleur and Andromeda looked over and yelled. Bill turned and jumped up, taking out his wand in the process. "Petrificus Totalus!" yelled Bill with his wand pointed towards the photographer. He fell right over, as stiff as a board. The Weasley brothers all ran over with security wizards. They took the photographer away.

When the boys walked back, Fleur jumped up and gave her husband a kiss on the cheek. "Bill! You are ay hero!" she exclaimed still hugging him. Victoire jumped up and went to hug her daddy around the knees. "Yay Daddy!" she yelled. The others all laughed and thanked Bill as they sat back down.

"My dears! My dears! Come on in!" yelled Mrs. Weasley as she ran over to her family. The entire family jumped up and ran over. They all chattered until she signaled for them all to hush. "It's a boy!" she yelled. Everyone cheered as they speed-walked down the hall to Ginny's room.

They burst in congratulating the brand-new parents and going to surround the bed. There were sighs all around.

"Hush everybody. My boy is trying to sleep and my wife is trying to rest." said Harry just loud enough for everyone to hear.

Ginny was sitting up on the bed with her hair tied up in a messy bun. She was a holding the baby, the tiny new addition to the family, in her arms. She never even looked up from her son's face. She just sat there beaming at it. Harry was sitting on the side of the bed with his arm around her shoulders. He whispered in her ear, "I love you so so so much." She looked up for the first time and whispered back, "I love you too."

"So... Whatz did you name heem?" asked Fleur. Harry and Ginny looked at each other before looking back at their family. "We decided to name him James, after my dad." said Harry. They all 'aw'ed. "What about a middle name?" asked George. It was Ginny who answered this time. "We haven't discussed it yet, but I want it to be Sirius. So he will be named after the man who was a fatherly figure to Harry when he had none." she said. Harry looked at her in surprise. "Really?" he asked. "Of course." she said. Harry smiled and kissed her full on the mouth.

"We should leave you two. Let's go everyone." said Bill. Everyone said their goodbyes and all went back to their own homes. Harry and Ginny just beamed down at their new little bouncing baby boy.

James Sirius Potter was born on May 20th, 2002 at exactly 7 and 1/2 pounds.
