The Pokemon school of Aloramora beach was a small, but cozy school. It consisted of two classrooms, a general play area, and a kitchen. New trainers-to-be, often the ones too young to become official trainers, were in their classroom cooling down from quite the adventure on the beach.
"And then the professor walked up to those bad guys got knocked out by an ember!" Nicky described to his old teacher. "Ember its supposed to bee the weakest attack in the book!"
"It was so cool!" a little girl cheered.
"Now, now, children," Ms. Marilyn said." I'm sure it was very exciting. I'm just glad all of you made it back in one piece. Now, can anyone tell me-?"
"YOU CALL THAT THING A ROCK?" shouted an unfamiliar voice from the teen room. Annoyed, Ms. Marilyn popped her head through the door that separated the rooms and looked for the source.
Most of the class wasn't there today, for they had gone on a field trip to the hoenn region, and wouldn't be back for some time. The sun lit up the vanilla bean walls. They were spotted with old pokemon league posters and data charts. Tables were scattered here and there, and the chairs were stacked neatly in a corner. Next to the teachers desk, Me. Marilyn identified the source of the ruckus. It was the visitor with the death-metal hippie outfit. He was with Professor Birch, a young black haired boy who looked about the same age as the death metal kid, a young boy about half as tall as everyone else, and a couple of her own curious students.
She caught the boy's eye and he immediately froze in place. It was clear that he was not warned of her existence, so she made sure he'd never forget.
Daedalus had never seen such a terrifyingly murderous gaze before. He felt like a weak rattata caught in a dark alley by a Persian that was ready for a delicious snack. Naturally, he gulped, fully expecting to be eaten.
"So," She almost purred at him. "Do you like interrupting my class?"
He simply shook his head.
"Is this going to happen again?"
He shook his head again. Her life-stealing glare prevented him from saying anything. With a satisfied smirk, she returned to her class, taking the icy air of hostility with her.
Kaisuke nudged Daedalus with his elbow. "I think someone has a cru---sh."
Daedelus looked like he was gonna vomit. "What? Are you serious? What part of that looked like a crush? More like she wanted to crush my organs and boil it in her next stew! Did you see how evil she looked? How do you even begin to suspect that she could be into me?"
"I don't. I wasn't taking about her."
He was only kidding, but the face Daedelus made as Kaisuke returned his attention back to the professor was absolutely priceless. And speaking of priceless...
"So, what's up with the kid's over grown wedding ring?" he asked the professor as he looked at the gem in wonder. It was a clear jade for the most part, with what looked like hundreds of jagged edges. One couldn't help but notice that, when the light hits it in the right angle, one could see the gem give a beautiful iridescent shine.
"I found it floating down the river a few months ago." The boy explained. He stood next to the professor in his tribal looking clothes. He wore a white shirt with a leather poncho over it and leather shorts. Various patterns of stars adornedbthe light-brown leather. "No one could figure out what kind of rock it was, so I just call it my rock. Do you know what it is professor?"
