Deep in the Korakoa jungle, a very young woman in hot pink cargo shorts and a baby-pink tanktop laid on a thick branch high among the trees. She had pretty blonde hair with pink highlights that curled at her ears and cute blue eyes to match. She sung to herself K-pop songs as she played on her hot pink game boy. She was enjoying herself quite a bit. She made it a point to always be in a happy mood. Feeling anything else was just so... annoying.
She heard the snapping and rustling of footsteps come her way, but had no need to take any attention off her game. She already knew who it was.

"So, where is my shiny overgrown jewel?"

The footsteps stopped. She could already feel the uncertainty of the two middle-aged men. She waited for an answer, but didn't bother taking her ear buds out. Her song had just gotten to the good part. Kanto has such great music. Why didn't Verona have music like this?

"What did you say?" she asked." I'm hoping my music is the reason I couldn't hear you."

"We were unable to retrieve it ma'am." One of the men mumbled, just loud enough for her to catch wind.

"And why not? I know you were able to locate it. And I know the jewel was being held by a little boy. I'd like to here your explanation."

The men froze, neither wanting to be the one to deliver the news. Unfortunately for them, her song ended. She put the game in her pocket and jumped off her tree branch. Sliding against the tree trunk to slow her fall, she made her way to the forest floor almost elegantly. She looked at them with a bright and cute smile. Even though they knew better, it still comforted them a little.

"I suggest you explain now before I grow bored." she continued.

"The boy found protection." the other man reported. "We were destroyed by a woman with a blaziken."

"So what you're telling me," her smile faded little by little with every word. "Is that you were so incompetent, you chased a boy through an entire jungle, and still let him escape?"

Neither of the men answered. Both were too afraid.

"Very well." she sighed. Good help. It simply doesn't exist. "Now look what you've made me do. I'm no longer happy. I wonder how I can fix that..."
Both men tensed up. How did they wind up working for this nut case? Of all the admins, why were they working for her? One of the men was so scared, his legs began to tremble. She noticed and just the sight brought a curl to her lips.

"You, the shaky man" she addressed him.

"Y-yes ma'am." he trembled.

"Did you at least plant the trap properly?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Excellent." she turned away from the lackeys and left with a smile. "I always love a good infinite extraction. I'll go do that while I clean up your mess."

When she disappeared, the men let go a sigh of relief. No one liked that sadistic woman.

Elsewhere in Korakoa, hoping to be inching their way to the shore, a weary trainer and his sylveon continued running from the horde of cats.

Darn. Kaisuke cursed under his breath. I don't think were gonna last much longer. Why haven't they given up already?

They had been running for only arceus knew how long. Scratches and bruises decorated their skin and fur, showing off all their near misses. If they didn't lose them soon, they wouldn't have anything left to miss...Wait!
Through the heavy leaves and thick branches, he could see a clearing leading to a warm sunset. If he could just get to the beach-
