Anti's POV-
The light woke me up. I felt the hot sun hit my pale skin. I haven't seen light in ages, only darkness. I went into the forest hoping to find food. I heard voices. I quickly climbed up a tree to hide. "RUN JORDYN!!!! I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!!" A women and a 13 year old girl seemed to be running from something. I looked closer, there were demon hunters. Demon hunters are what they sound like. They hunt demons so that they can sell them to DTC's and sometimes they even kill them just for fun. Anyways, I quickly laid onto the tree branch. Hoping they wouldn't see me. I heard the women and girl running, I assume they're mother and daughter. "RUN JORDYN RUN!!!!!" The mother stopped in her tracks. She looked back at the demon hunters, and then at her sobbing daughter. She put her hand over her mouth and started to cry. She ran over to her daughter and grabbed her. They hid behind a tree until the demon hunters ran right past them. The mother seemed to realize there was a space under the roots of the tree they were hiding behind. "Okay honey, get in here." The mother shoved her daughter forcefully under the tree. The mother then told her daughter to stay there no matter what. "Okay mom." The daughter did as she was told. "I love you honey." The mother then started to walk towards the demon hunter's. "MOM!!! WHAT ARE YOUR DOING!!!!" The little girl screamed, but stayed put. The mother didn't answer. I realized that the mother and daughter weren't like any other demons I've ever seen before. They were shape shifters.
[Sorry that this chapter is really short. But I woke up sick this morning so I'm just not feeling it, but I tried. Hope you guys like the cliff hanger.]
