Dylans POV
Shawn and I were eating lunch and talking about Grey's Anatomy.
"I honestly can't believe they would kill off Derek." Shawn spoke in disbelief.
"I know! Him and Meredith were so perfect for each other."
"I'm still upset over George's death." Shawn sighed.
"I never got over it, he was such a sweet guy."
"Oh look, here comes the devil and her friends."
Abbi and the preps were the schools bitches. High school royalty. They were a group of 4 seniors. 2 of them being 2 time senior year repeaters. They ran this place. Guys threw themselves at Abbi. And girls strived to be her.
"Oh look, it's wannabe JB and the freak who doesn't speak." Abbi spat while her friends snickered.
"Hi Abbi." I faked smiled while rolling my eyes.
"Oh hello - uh, sorry I forgot your name." She chuckled.
"Funny!" I said sarcastically.
"Should have known the two losers of the school would become friends eventually."
"Why do you care?" Shawn spoke up.
"Because this is my school. I'd be careful talking back to me or I'll tell little dill pickle over here about your 'problem.'" She laughed while pretending to slit her wrist.
"Get lost." Shawn said standing up, clearly pissed off.
"Gladly." She smirked.
Shawn stormed out after that. Shawn said he stopped doing that. How does Abbi know about it? So many questions were racing through my brain that I couldn't quite figure out how to stop. I was worried about Shawn.

"Shawn?" I walked into his room. He was laying down in bed playing on his phone.
"Dyl? What are you doing here?" He sat up in bed and put his phone down.
"Your mom let me in. She says you haven't left your room since you got home." I said plopping down beside him.
"I really don't want to talk about it." He said turning away from me.
"Fine. Then I'll talk." I replied. I took in a breath and started to rant. "Abbi and her friends are bitches. They like to tear people like us down to build themselves up because they're jealous of our lives and insecure about their own. We may not be the cool kids or have very many friends, but I think you're awesome, and I know I'm awesome, so let's be awesome together."
"That was almost moving." He said sarcastically, and then chuckled.
"Hey man, I tried!" I laughed, slapping his arm playfully, causing him to wince in pain.
My heart skipped.
I looked from his arm to his face. He was wearing this horrified look. Knowing that I knew what was up.
"Shawn. Lift up your sleeve." I said sternly.
"It's nothing, Dylan. The cat did it." He tried to shake it off.
"Almost convincing. Except for the fact that you don't have a cat."
"Just leave it alone, Dylan. Honestly it's none of your business." He shouted at me. "I think you should leave."
"Shawn, I just want to help you." I sighed.
"You can help me by leaving me the hell alone!" He shouted causing his parents to run in and check on us.
"What's going on in here?" Karen questioned.
"Nothing, Mrs. Mendes, I was just leaving." I said while getting my stuff together.
And just like that, I was once again, alone.
