Six months later
"Stop kissing my neck, Devin. We have visitors soon." I giggled.
"I cannot, you just taste so good." He licked my neck, putting a butterfly kiss behind my ear – the spot where I melted each and every time, turning to butter in his fingers. I felt like I was floating, however I knew if he continued like this we wouldn't be able to stop, the touches would turn addictive and nobody would be in any... cough.. arranged representable state to meet our guests.
Today was the day we decided to invite a few people. Nothing spectacular, the last few months were filled with hard work and needed to be set an end and new beginning. Where we were? Well, since the day I got released out of the hospital I was working hard on giving Kean and Devin a new place to live. The minute I got Elise's confirmation for them to stay at her flat, I decided to stay the following months as well. As you can imagine, it was pretty tight, but as Kean was out at school most of the time, and Devin and me trying to give Elise enough space it worked out well enough. The months flew by, knitting us all together despite our unrelatedness.
Elise was a big help in getting everything set, starting at the custody order and the search of a flat. The custody order was still not settled to the fullest, but as soon as they saw Devin and the way he treated his brother, it was a sure thing for him to get the custody. We celebrated like the crazy bunch we were when we found out he got the custody indeed, each two months someone would pay him a visit, but we were more than fine with it. So far nobody said a word, only complimenting him on his parenting/brother skills.
Of course, that boosted his self-esteem, making him glow with pride. It was awesome seeing him like this, all cozied up and relaxed. After a month of searching, we finally found an affordable flat for them too, it was surprisingly close to Elise's, making it easy for me to help them settle in.
Devin didn't know that I wrapped my stuff up as well, meaning I relocated and searched for another job closer to his area. We had not really talked about it before, but one night after a sweaty sexy night, he asked me to move in with him, it took me a while to agree with him as I didn't want to disturb the special relationship he and his brother had – however after Kean beat me at a computer game, settling a bet, it was a fixed thing. My parents didn't have anything against it, they only wanted me to visit them once in a while.
Living with them was pure bliss, the loving of Devin was something I never felt before. Naturally, I still suffered from nightmares from the night I killed Greg. To be precise I did not really kill him, but he died after being released out of the hospital, just to be transferred to the prison where a cage fight ripped open the wound, causing him to suffer from inner bleeding which lead to his death.
It was a rough time, but we made it. Today though, we invited my parents and a few of the friends we made here. The door dinged, forcing Devin to keep his hands of me, it was a tough game for him whilst I wore a red pencil skirt and a black blouse tucked in. To be fair, I couldn't take my eyes of him either, his casual jeans and shirt made my mouth water, especially when I knew what was under it. Yummy.
Before we opened the door, we smiled at each other, "Ready? Let's do this." and pressed down on the handle.
DEVIN:
Today was the big day, we decided to invite a few guests into OUR new flat. yes, I said ours, in a night of passion I asked Elva to move in with me, and she agreed after thinking about it a bit. The time she took to think about made me crazy, but I knew she would give me her answer. Elise was a great help getting me custody over Kean, honestly it was unbelievable that we managed to accomplish everything I ever dreamt of: a good life, a good laugh, a good love, a flat, custody over Kean. It was... like a miracle itself.
I will never forget the day I reached out and gave her that flower, she was a whirlwind. One I was desperate to get to know her, now, six months later, I can't stand another minute without this woman. I loved everything about her, her smile, her attitude, her laugh, and... damn, her figure. She was soft in all the right places, I could hug and touch her all day and not get tired of it. The living together thing proved itself easier than expected, Kean didn't mind either way, he was as smart as ever, and we all knew when to make a wide berth around each other.
You might think it was all a cheesy easy time, more drama than the actual self, but if you haven't been in a similar situation, you wont undestand it easily... We fought and won. It didn't happen all the time, but this once we had luck.I know our love life was one on speed, others would have taken more time. But, that was MY issue, I loved how it turned out - I was happy. I'm just asking you: Would you let go of the person you think is the ONE just because others don't appreciate you as a couple? Didnt think so.
