Frisk's POV
Another reset.
I wasn't too clear as to why I was doing this-I just was.
That doesn't mean I enjoyed it.
I sighed as I went on with the nearly robotic movements I went through. Slash and slay. Level up. Kill more. Erase the world. Bring it back. Reset. Repeat.
Nobody remembered what I did, except for Chara.
How, I would probably never know.
She was always smiling, except for when I did the final hit. Last timeline... She just gave up.
Killing everyone over and over can do things to someone.
I stopped in my tracks. I was in Snowdin, doing everything without even realizing by now. I was at the place where Chara would usually come to greet me. This time, she just stayed at her station. I saw her there. She was asleep, but it didn't look the most peaceful.
After a few silent seconds she flinched awake.
She narrowed her eyes at me and walked over. "You know how this goes." She said with a sigh. She turned around and waited for Asriel to come, and he did. I did nothing, and Asriel simply left, as per usual. I stayed where I was, thinking about what I was doing for once.
Why was I killing?
Why did I start?
Why?
Why?
Why?
"Well?" Chara asked. "What, you gonna stay here and kill me early?" I dropped my weapon. She looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing?" I looked at her.
"Kill me." I said.
"What are you doing?!" Mettaton asked me angrily. I didn't answer him.
"What?" Chara asked, confused.
"I said, kill me." I said. Chara shrugged and made a knife pierce my soul. It broke and I reset.
I didn't want to kill anymore.
