Chapter 4-Punished

Frisk's POV

I smiled. Chara looked surprised, saying nothing for a few seconds. Her smile faded slightly, then it returned and she cleared her throat.

"I'm supposed to be on watch for other humans right now, but y'know... Not really feeling up to it. Now my brother, Asriel... He's a human hunting FANATIC. In fact, I think I see him coming right now. Go through this gate thingy. Yeah, go right through. Rei made the bars too wide to stop anyone." Chara said. I nodded and went through. "Quick, behind that conveniently shaped lamp." Chara gestured to the bluish lamp nearby. I went behind it, and saw Asriel coming over.

"Chara! It's been three days and you still haven't recalibrated. Your. Puzzles!" Asriel scolded. "What are you even doing? You were napping all night!"

"Pretty sure that's called 'sleeping', Rei." Chara replied.

"You know I hate that nickname!" Asriel complained.

"Sorry, I'm only 'kid'ding." Chara grinned and winked.

"CHARA!" Asriel shouted angrily. "You're supposed to be on watch for humans!"

"Maybe this lamp'll help." Chara suggested.

"What's a stupid lamp gonna do?!"

"I dunno. Maybe you should check?"

"...NO!"

"Aw, why not? I thought it was a 'bright' idea."

"I'm gonna tell mom you weren't doing your job!"

"Well you aren't doing yours by talkin' to me."

Silence.

"Shut up."

"Maybe this lamp will help ya do your job."

"It's a lamp! A. Lamp. WHATS IT GONNA DO?!"

"Light up your life."

With a huff, Asriel stomped away. Chara was smiling. "You can come out, now." Chara told Frisk. She stayed where she was. Frisk walked over. "You should get going, Rei might come back. Then you'd have to sit through more of my hilarious jokes." Frisk grinned, and went on his way.

What he didn't see was the smile Chara wore faded. She watched him leave.

Wow. That was something I'd never want to sit through again.

But that's not my main concern.

The little genocider thinks he will get away with what he's done, just because of one timeline of peace and life?

Heh heh heh heh...

What a funny joke!

Looks like someone needs to be punished...

Note: Yes, the person view did change kinda, from first person to third. I'm too lazy to change either that or the rest of the story, so the rest of the story is gonna be in third person cause I for one am lazy.
