Chara's POV
I woke up in my bed, again. So the human reset. Wonder what that was all about. Did he mess up killing earlier? Why would the human ask me to kill him? I stayed where I was, not really feeling up to moving.
When Asriel came, I just didn't respond.
The only reason I stayed around was for my bro. Didn't want to hurt him, confuse him, and more.
He didn't remember the timelines, he couldn't understand. He couldn't help even if he wanted to. Asriel left the room with a sigh. Chara watched him leave. She knew he would leave some breakfast for her, but she wasn't hungry. She barely was. After a couple of hours staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep, Chara gave up and sat up. She went downstairs and went to her station, knowing the human would come soon.
She knew their every move by now.
And as Chara predicted, she heard the Ruins door open, and the human walked out. But to her surprise, he had tears in his eyes, and she noticed his LOVE was at a mere 1. She teleported behind him as he walked out. She didn't really know what to do. He walked past the stick, and she teleported to it and broke it, then teleported away. She kept her plastered on smile as he flinched at the noise. He kept going, and Chara sometimes appeared as a shadow behind him, then leaving. The human froze, and looked around, but Chara stayed hidden. Soon he continued forward again and paused at the gate. Chara took a shaky breath and walked forward as a shadow.
"H u m a n. D o n ' t y o u k n o w h o w t o g r e e t a f e l l o w h u m a n? T u r n a r o u n d, a n d s h a k e m y h a n d." Chara said creepily, holding out her hand. The human slowly turned around, and shook her hand. She kept her smile as red liquid seeped around the human's hand, and he pulled back quickly. Chara showed herself. "Heh heh, the old fake blood trick. It always seems to work. Don't worry, it's just ketchup." Chara said, her laugh empty. She didn't trust that this human, the one that's killed so, so many times before, was going through without murdering. It was an empty hope. The human smiled at this. The smile looked genuine, like he enjoyed the prank. It wasn't creepy nor murderous.
Was the human going pacifist?
