Chapter 13

The room grew quiet, no one spoke. Luke sat up, his teary eyes shined with relief. 

"Give them some time." Luke's mom said. 

Everyone left the room. Ashton walked over to Luke and climbed into the small hospital bed with him. He curled up next to him on the side that didn't have the stitches. Luke took his hand with Ashton's. 

"Where did you go?" Luke asked. 

"I went home." Ashton sighed. 

Should he tell Luke why? Luke's blue eyes stared deep into Ashton's. 

"Why?" Luke asked. 

"My arms began to itch the more I waited here, I asked the nurse if I can see you but she said you were still in surgery ... So when my mom got here I went home."  Ashton told him. 

"Did you?" Luke's voice cracked. 

"No. No." Ashton sat up. "I knew if I did it ... it would ruin us ... so I thought about you. My happy place." 

Luke smiled and cupped his cheek. Ashton sighed and laid his head back down on Luke's chest. 

"I love you." Luke mumbled. 

"I love you." Ashton smiled. 

... 

It's almost been four months since Ashton and Luke started dating. Blake was arrested after what happened but Hayley still hasn't given up on Luke. Ashton had grown more confidence. 

Luke was taking his stuff out of bag getting ready for third period. He has been avoiding Hayley all day but she caught him off guard. 

"Lukey baby." She skipped over to him. 

She was wearing a crop top with a short skirt. Luke saw her and shivered in disgust. He doesn't like her at all. He placed her hand on his chest and smiled. 

"So you wanna ditch school and..." She was cut off by a very angry aggravated Ashton. 

"Listen here bitch, this *Ashton grabbed Luke's crotch* is mine. All mine. I don't like sharing what's mine. So back the fuck off of what is MINE." Ashton hissed. 

He felt Luke getting hard and he quickly removed his hand with a slight smile on his face. 

"Understood." Hayley nodded and walked off. 

"Damn that was sexy." Luke bit his lip. 

"Sorry about that." Ashton looked down. 

"Don't stare, you'll only make it worst." Luke grumbled. 

Ashton laughed. "After school ... I want us to go to the next level." 

Luke stared at him. 

"Never mind." Ashton went to walk away but Luke grabbed his hand. 

"Are you sure?" Luke asked. 

"Yes, I've been thinking about it a lot." Ashton admitted. "I want this." 

"Me too." Luke smiled. "My house or yours?" 

"My mom has detention duty after school so mine." Ashton laughed when he said duty. 

"Ashton, this will be my first time ever ... I don't wanna hurt you." Luke looked like he was about to cry. 

"Hey, I can take the pain." Ashton hugged him then gave him a quick kiss. "Let's get to class."
