Diagon Alley

A/N this chapter was made very late so sorry if it's bad

(Y/N)'s pov.
It took me a few days to fully accept that I was a witch even though Lily seemed to know it all along. I had to apologize to her for not believing anything she said. Now that I knew her stories were true they become more interesting .

One week before school we needed to go get suplies for out first year. Petunia had to stay home with our dad and I felt sorry for her, she was so excited to see the wizard world...

.It took us almost 4 hours to find Diagon Alley even with the help of the letters. When we got there is was like a dream come true: hundreds of wizards and witches were running around obviously busy some carrying books or strange purses, others were walking with children looking as lost as we were. Animals could be heard barking and mowing. From time to time you could see olws flying around delivering important letters and no one would pay attention to them. I give Lily a huge grin which she returned gladly.

The first thing we did after we finished admiring was visit the bank to change some money (and stare at the wierd goblin creatures that were realy scary for me) . After we were back on the sreet we looked aroud . We saw a few wizards and witches with long black robes and pointy hats chatting. My mom decided to ask one for indications.

"Excuse me" she adresed to a random sranger that looked kind
"Yes"he responded
"We were wondering where can we find ...robes ?" She asked after looking at the letter again

The man was very nice and told us where to go. It was a small shop not far from where we were. We thank him as we entered the shop.

A nice lady put me on a chair and start measuring me .
"What house are you in dear?" She asked with a soft smile.
"Excuse me?" I responded-asked confused.
"Oh, you must be a first year mugle-born" she tried to clear thing but only made it worst .
I looked at her with the most confused look I ever had. She must had understood because she started explainig.
"Mugles are non-magical people and mugle-borns are the ones that have mugle-parents" she said calmly with the same smile

I slowly nodded letting her know I understood.

After Lily's robe was done too I went into a book store(I said I didn't like math not books) and let mom and Lily make the shopping.

I was looking at a book called "Ten signs into recognizing a werewolf" when someone bumped into me .

"Sorry/sorry"we both said wanting to take the books from the floor . When I took mine I noticed that he was reading a werewolf book as well.
"(Y/N)" I said looking at the boy. He looked small and ill and really pale. Weird thing about him were the brown lines on his face that looked like scars.
"Remus" he said droping his eye at the floor.
"Do you- "I was cut off by Lily who started yelling.
"Come (Y/N) !! We finished !"she yelled managing to get everyone's atention
"Quit yelling!" I said totaly forgeting about Remus
"Ok ,ok" she said making her way to the exit .
"Oh! Bye Remus" I said turning to the boy.
"Bye" He said with his eyes still on the floor.

My mom had her hands full of books titled like: "How to charm a teacup by Allan Kentwood" or "Guide through the magic world by Samuel Unrek"
I decided to say something
"Sooo... Where next?"

"Well I was thinking it's time to take your wands" My mom responded. "While you were in that shop I asked a lady and we are supposed to find a store called Ollivanders"

"There it is!" Lily exclaimed happily

She pointed at a store pained in a warm shade of gray. Through the big windows you could spot thousands of slim boxes stocked on top of each other.

"Well I will come back in 10 minutes, if I hadn't arrive yet just wait for me" Our mom said looking at us seriously.

"Sure mom you can count on us!" Lily said giving a fake salute then rushed into the shop. I gave mom an assurance smile after following Lily.

"Ah. So you and your sister need a wand" I heard a man's voice. Then a few whispers followed by a loud crash. I followed the voices leading behind a stall only to find my sister with a wand in her hand

"10 3/4, willow mystical plant core" He said handing Lily a new wand. It was soft and elegant. She took it gladly without hesitation but at the moment her hand touched the wood a bright light filled the room while a strange wind ruffled her hair.

"I knew it would be perfect for you" The short man said thoughtful. "As for you" He continued looking at me "I think I have just what you need" His voice turned cheerful

He walked into a tunnel until we couldn't see him anymore then yelled "Follow me!" hesitating I obeyed and after giving Lily the same assurance smile from before I entered the dark tunnel. After half a minute of walking I found myself in a small room stoked with the same boxed. Taking a better look at the boxes I discovered that some were longer than others; some were black elegant with gold neat handwriting while others were white with strange symbols; lastly there were dark brown boxes that looked old as the shop.

I stood there in silence and waited. From time to time a "Hmm... Maybe this one" could be heard from the other side of the room followed by a "No".

As I was waiting I saw one of the brown boxes slightly glowing. I knew I shouldn't have but something about that glow tempted me. So I got closeer and closer until my skin touched the rough material. A moment I felt like the time stoped, next I felt like a supernatural wind took me off the ground. I knew I couldn't have possibly float but in a world full of wizards I started to question the rules of fizics. I noticed a thin pice of wood next to me; touching it made me fell to the floor

And with that I exit the shop. When I finally got home I was way more excited about Hogwarts than before
