The Marauders Era (RemusLupinxReader)

Winter

That year we all stayed over at Hogwarts for the Holidays. On Christmas day I was woken up by my sister Lily who was jumping happily on my bed.
"It's Christmas!!!" Her smile reminded me of the day we got our letters.

~~Miraculous Flashback~~
"It's an owl!!" My mother yealed as she picked one of our old brooms.
"Oh! Merlin, Merlin!! Is it?" Lily literally jumped up and down looking at Snape. He nodded and her face turned red. Breathing slowly she made her way and calmed our mom. Than she untied two letters from the owl's feet and read them. We were all watching her closely as her face lit up. The warm smile she was wearing today greeted me that day.
"We are going to Hogwarts"

"Now is it?" I asked moking the voice out dad made in some funny situations.

"Yes! Come on!" She giggled.

I looked over at the end of my bed to find 7 packages, nicely decorated.  I got up and grabed them than went into the boys room asking Lily if she wanted to join but she refused saying that she will spend her Christmas with Snape. I was not surprised to find all of them  sleeping exept for Remus who was reading a book about Wolfsbane.

"Happy Christmas!!" I yealed in James's ear making him and Sirius jump out of the bed, me and Remus having tears of laughter in the corners of our eyes.

"Hmm" James smiled as he looked at the still sleeping Peter. Than he looked at me giving me his mischievous smirk. I returned it and with pillows in our hands we started jumping on his bed and hitting the poor boy with the pillows.

"I'm up, I'm up!" He yealed.

Later we all opened our  presents. I received from Lily a book about the History of Magic, from my parents a pair of jeans and a sweater, from Sirius some old magazines, from James oil for my broom, Peter brought me a big box of sweets. Shara and Ella brought me a make-up box that I would probably just put under my bed and forget about until I will be in the fifth year. But the most beautiful present was from Remus. A small blue jewlery  box. Inside it was a silver necklace with a quarter of a moon. I fell in love instantly.

"Oh Merlin Remus I love it!" (bet you thought You fell in love with Remus)

"He he.. Glad you like it" Without thinking I jumped off the bed and hugged him tightly. He stood there awkwardly as I letted go of him not noticing the pink that was forming in his cheeks. I than handed him his present. I was an old book from my family's library: a muggle documentary about werewolves called "History of semi-human creatures" written by Alan Jackson.

"When we first met you were reading a book about werewolves so I thought you might like this" I said as I handed him the old book. He took it gratefully and smiled but I could catch a glance of sadness in his eyes before lowering his head.

"Hmm" James started "How about a snowball fight?"

~Timeskip~
"So! Let's recapitulate the rules"

About half an hour later James, Sirius, Peter, Remus, Lily, Ella, Sophie and I were standing next to the Wimping Willow. James was repeating the rules for the third time already so I spoke up.

"Yeah, Yeah! You, Sirius, Remus and Peter are a team and Ella, Sophie, Lily and I the other. No pushing, no swearing, no hitting other teammates and no entering the other's base since there is the safe zone. If you are hit you're out. Now let's fight already!" Everyone nodded in agreement as they took their position.

"Fine!" James exclaimed in defeat.

We already decided were are bases are so all was left was to take our positions and fight.

"Go!!"

A few snowballs flew right away hitting only the walls of the base (witch weren't higher then a foot). Peter ran like crazy managing to hit Sophie in the progress but immediately got hit by a snowball thrown by Lily. I high-fived her but spotted Sirius trying to hit Ella so instinctly yelled "Look out!" Good thing she was armed and trew a perfectly aimed snowball that hitted him right in the face. He fell in the snow murmuring something about his "beautiful face" being "broken". James took her off guard and hitted the poor girl in the back. "noooooo!" Lily yelled dramatically.

"Let's regroup" I suggested. Lily noded shortly and we both went back to the base were Ella was waiting for us.

"So all we have to do is take out James and Remus" I said in an authority tone.

"Sure. How hard can it be?"

The game continued for about half an hour of running around and yelling. Peter and Sophie went to grab  something to eat while Sirius remained to "lift our spirits". In the meantime we made a foolproof plan that the boys will never see coming.

Ella and Lily went to the left while I took the right. I tip-toed to the boy's base and carefully preparing my snowballs when I heard Lily scream. I turned my head to see her covered in snow and James laughing like crazy next to her. Another scream chough my attention. Ella was hitted by Remus leaving my alone with the boys. Not so foolproof after all. I reached for a snowball and aimed at James who got hit in the stomach.

Remus was moving quickly in my direction and in no time he was next to me. I was prepared to hit him when I saw that he didn't have any snowballs in his hands. Is he giving up? He started running and pushed me in the snow. Having no time to react I found myself in the snow with Remus on top of me. We both started laughing like mad and roling around in the snow and making snow angels. Ella, Lily, James and Sirius ran to us and started asking Who Won?

We both just shrugged still laughing.

"So all that fight for nothing?" Sirius asked a bit frustrated.

"Well I guess it's a tie!" I finally manage to say after I finished laughing.

"Well in that case what about some hot chocolate? It's so cold I can't feel my legs!"
