Aimera touched down next to Kal-El. She smiled. She was much closer to Superman than Kara was to him. Since she had grown up with the Kents, she saw him regularly. While he had chosen to keep out of Kara's life, there was no avoiding it with Aimera.

"Kal-El." She said, greeting him.

"Aimera Kor-Em." He returned, keeping a serious expression before they both broke into laughter.

"How are you, Clark?" She asked.

"We can exchange pleasantries later, Mara. We have a job to do." He said.

"Right. What is it?" She nodded, agreeing. Clark was the only one who called her Mara. Her friends in National City usually called her Aimes.

"There's been reports of superhumans. I figured they were Lex's doing." He informed her.

Aimera nodded once more. Kara and Clark led separate lives, keeping their enemies to themselves, unless absolutely necessary. Aimera and Clark couldn't help that, since they shared earth parents.

When she turned twenty-one two months ago, Clark had started training her. He said it was so she could help Kara, or maybe go to a city of her own. Maybe even Central City. Sure, they were far away, but they didn't have any heroes there.

After those two months, Superman had decided to let her help him on certain missions. Nobody ever saw her, so nobody knew that Superman was getting help.

This time, Clark thought that Lex was making superhumans. He didn't know how, but it was surely for some type of world domination or something to that effect.

Clark then pointed to a nearby building. "People have been reporting that there was angry yelling and other loud noises coming from the building. I think it's one of Lex's failed superhumans."

Aimera nodded. "Let's go then." She said, levitating a little bit in the air.

"Let me check the perimeter. You're just like Kara, you both go in blindly. You need to make sure there's no traps."

Aimera rolled her eyes, but nodded anyways.

Clarke took off, and flew around the building a few times.

He came back, and gave the all-clear.

Aimera took off. Both her and Kara were faster than Clark, and they weren't sure why. Clark had suggested it was because they had smaller, and thus, lighter frames.

As they neared the building's entrance, they could hear the loud banging. It sounded like a baby throwing a tantrum. An incredibly large and strong baby. She relayed this information to Superman, and he tried to hold back laughter at the mental image, and nodded.

Aimera was the first to  walk through, and was immediately knocked back into the field. From the loud noise, people were starting to come out of their homes. Aimera swore under her breath at her careless mistake. She would be spotted now.

She flied back into the building before people could get many pictures. Superman was locked in what looked like a wrestling match with a teenage boy. He looked no older than sixteen, but looked almost as strong as the Kryptonian.

Aimera quickly headed to the two and grabbed the teenage around the neck, holding him in place.

"Who are you?" Clark yelled at him.

"Name's Jax." The teenager said. His voice was gruff, almost like he couldn't form words.

"What are you?" Superman said, confused.

"Strong." Jax replied.

"Did Lex Luthor do this to you?" Aimera asked.

"Do Not Know." He said.

Superman opened his mouth to continue, but Jax let out a gasp, and then crumbled. His skin turned into dust, and his heart stopped. Before long, he was no more, not even leaving a body.

"I think you may have been right about that strong baby tantrum theory, Mara." Kal-El said, turning to the Kryptonian girl, who was simply staring in shock at her arm, where a body used to be.
