It has been five hours since Kara found out about the 'mysterious lookalike' that fought at Superman's side.

It took her four hours to decide to allow people to believe it was Supergirl.

Four hours to accept the praise that she did not deserve, for a fight that she did not fight.

After she called me and told me of this, I flew far into the cornfields. And went into a rampage. I wasn't sure why. I mean, deep down, I understood why Kara did it. If the people found out that there was another Kryptonian alive, it could cause panic and rumors. Those against the alien presence here on earth could use it as an excuse to accuse Kryptonians of invading.

Clark followed me not long after I left the house. I was cutting through corn stalks with my heat-ray vision. It was like I had a red haze covering my eyes. It was blinding.

"I can practically see the steam coming out of your ears." Clark said, reminiscent of the cartoons the two of us watched as children.

"Why am I so angry?" I asked, breathing heavily.

"Maybe you really want to be a hero, and Kara taking the credit for something you did made you angry?"

"Clark, I told you I didn't want to be a hero.." I said, shaking my head.

"You're a Kryptonian. You may not be of the House of El, but most Kryptonians feel the need to help." Clark responded, serious. "Or, at least, I think. I don't remember much." He shrugged.

"I'm going to talk to Kara. Tell her about what I'm feeling." I said, turning to fly back to Metropolis.

"About what you're feeling about the situation? Or what you're feeling for her?" Clark said, cautiously.

"I don't know what you mean, Clark?" I said, trying not to sound suspicious.

"Mara it's pretty obvious to me. I know you. Kara is just oblivious."

"Give Mom and Dad my love." I said, ignoring the comment.

"And your promise that you'll visit more often?" He questioned.

"Of course. I'll try." I nodded, launching into the sky.

On the way back to National City, I was intercepted.

I was pushed out of the air, knocking me off balance and causing me to crash onto the roof of a skyscraper.

"Hello. Aimera Kor-Em."

"Who the hell are you?" I groaned, picking myself up from the crash landing and looking at the woman.

"My name is Astra. I am a survivor of Krypton. You don't know me, but I have been watching you for some time now." The woman said. She had brown hair, but a grey streak through it. She looked familiar to me, but for some reason I couldn't exactly put my finger on it.

"I don't have to listen to this. I don't know who you are, and I'm no hero. I don't want to be involved in your diabolical plan to take over National City. That's Supergirl's job." I said, turning to leave.

"Ah.. But you are angry that Kara Zor-El has taken the credit for something you did, are you not?" She says smugly.

"Like I said. I'm not a hero. And Kara had her reasons." I said, over my shoulder, knowing that I should leave.

"Kara is of the proud house of El. I'm sure you had heard stories while still on Krypton. She, like her cousin did before her, will let this fantasy of being like a god to humans get to her head. She will not want to give that up easily." Astra replied, with a certain air of knowing to her words.

"You don't know that. You don't know her. She's different." I shook my head, knowing the truth about the girl I had become friends, and eventually fallen in love, with.

"I know her better than you would think. Goodbye, Aimera Kor-Em. Think on what I have said. Perhaps I will hear differently from you." Astra said, and before I could stop her, she was gone.
