Chapter 14

A/N: THANKSGIVING SPECIAL!!!!!!!

=Maka's POV= 

"Soul! Are you sending them!?" I yell to Soul, on the computer. 

"Yes! I'm sending them!" he replies. 

We are sending invitations to everyone for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone can have a bonding moment as a "family". Hopefully Tsubaki will get over her problems too. 

--Thanksgiving Party- 

The doorbell rings, Blair opens the door. 

"Hey, Tsu!" she says to Tsubaki! You too, BlackStar!" Blair says. 

"Hi...." Tsubaki says coldly. 

Blair leans to Star's ear. "Like Tsubaki when she wore- 

A hand covered her mouth.

"Did happen yet!" Tsubaki says in a high pitch voice. 

"Oh... well Star's gonna have something to be thankful for!" Blair winks at Tsubaki. 

What were they talking about?

=Tsubaki's POV=

I got over Soul. Thanks to will, and a quick and sucessful brain tweak from Professor Stein. I broke up with BlackStar since I dont really love him, it'd be a shame to lead him on. Now everyone can have a good Thanksgiving. Hopefully BlackStar too.... I always wonder why I loved Soul.... eh.  As if I could remember. We sit down as the bell rings, I answer. 

"Hello, Kid!" I wave politely. He smiles.

"What time is it?" 

"3:07. Why?" the second I say that, his face instantly breaks with self-anger and disgusts as he left. 

"Where ya going, Kid?" Maka asks. 

"Away. We shall try this again in one minute." he said looking at his watch, walking away. A minute later, at 3:08 he walks in from the cold along with Liz and Patty. 

More guests come, one after another. Sid, Naigus, Stein, Marie, Justin, Kilik, Ox and Kim as a couple, even Joe went with his Uncle Bob's coffee, declining hot chocolate. 

Then, Maka answers the door to see Spirit, poor girl. 

"Happy Thanksgiving, Maka!" the second that is sadi she slams the door in his face. 

"Damn...." BlackStar said. 

"I dont like you, go away!" she yells. 

Soul hugs her from behind. 

"C'mon, Maka. Thanksgiving is about quality time with families. Please open the door." yhe pleads. 

"Fine, but this is you're Christmas present." 

"Awh!" Soul said. 

"Don't worry, SOul, I got something for ya." Blair winks as Maka gave her the I'll-kill-you face and opens the door. 

Into the dinner, who knew they'd become friends?! It was a happyfying site. 

=Soul's POV= 

We eat the pumpkin pie and drink our hot chocolate for dessert as Maka hugged her dad on his way out.

"Was he that bad?" I said as her fake smile goes to a sheer, sinister frown. 

"Yes!" she punches my arm playfully and laughs.

I shrug and we go to bed, embracing the massive weight gain of 10 pounds to come in the morning.
