Materials:
1. Yarn/ribbon/etc
2. Objects that represent the purpose for the cord(optional)
Procedure:
1. Chant (in your head is fine) the purpose of the cord as you braid
2. Add any objects to it as you go along
3. Tie off the ends (or bind them together with candle wax
4. Wear whenever necessary.
You can use these as a on-the-go circle(just recharge it every few times you use it and actually be in a circle while you make it.
You can use these for healing or protecting. Or just about anything. If you don't want to use or can't use any objects in your cord, colors have meaning. Use colored material. If you are big on using 3 or 9. You can use that when deciding how long you want your cord to be.
Cords aren't meant to be worn 24/7. Use them when necessary. They are also adaptable to different situations, so you don't need to be super specific.
If you make one for protection, wear it when you are going someplace new or trying something new. Or for health. A wound healing faster or you getting over an illness.
If you are making a cord for someone else, they have to be aware of the magick of the cord for it to work.
