Chapter 13

I was avoiding Ryder for the last few days I still felt guilty but Joy said he was fine and wanted to apologias for being so mean but he wasn't really I was the one who didn't think of his feelings but I was still avoiding him lucky for me Joy was at his house all week so it was pretty smooth I still have not spoken to Weston for its been a month and well I still have not gotten rid of the way I feel for him it is just been intensified with us not talking I have several times typed out a message but then deleted it.

As for Joy her and Ryder went to the Dr last week and she will get her results today they are exited for the new addition to their little family Ryder has really stepped up and is happy to be a father the age between him and Joy does not affect him at all he told her love is what counts not a number.

I was on my way to do some shopping before I fetch Luke from school I love to go in the afternoon so there is not too many people at the shop, I was almost done with my full trolley going to pay when I felt a hand on my shoulder and almost had heart failure,

"Scarlett?" I turned around so fast at the voice

"Dax! Hi"

"I thought it was you, how are you and Luke doing?"

"We are good thank you, I was just not sure what to tell Luke on Saturday why you didn't show up like you said you would but don't worry he soon forgot about your missed day together when he went to his play date."

"Sorry Scarlett we lost track of time and Becky didn't want to leave the resort so I will make another time to introduce them to each other"

"Dax seriously I call you more than 5 times to see where you were and left messages you could have just answered and let me know you were not going to show I could have kept him busy and not sat waiting around for nothing. You don't know how up set he was but I guess he should be used to it by now with you."

"Scarlett I didn't mean to upset him it was just Becky and I were having so much fun and she really needed the distraction from her everyday life so I left my phone in the room and we were out on the beach"

"Don't worry about it Dax Luke will be fine I made sure of that and when you want to be a father let me know? Excuse me I have to finish up Luke is waiting for him mom to get him from school."

I walked off and didn't hear what he was trying to say I was so mad at him how can staying at a resort and not calling to let us know explain why he didn't show up to take his exited little boy out like he promised I should have known better Dax likes the free single care free life and braking a promise to him is like slicing butter, next time he wants Luke for the day I won't tell Luke till he shows up I will not see my son up set again due to his incapable father.
I paid for all the shopping and loaded it in the car as I was pulling out the parking lot I spotted Weston with a black haired girl all over him and he was holding her waist, I almost smacked the car behind me thank goodness I came back to reality, I drove off I didn't know if I was angry or hurt, but now I know why he didn't message me back and why he ran away from our kiss. Why didn't Ryder tell me he had a girlfriend?
Why didn't Wes tell me he liked someone when we were chatting I mean we were good friends and we told each other everything well I thought we did.

"Mommy"

"Hi my baby, how was school?"

"Fine"

"OK well hope in the car lets go home mommy needs to putt the shopping away"

"You buy me chocolate?"

"Yes baby mommy did get you smarties"

"And juice?"
