I was so concerned about what Weston had just told me about joy I drove straight through a red robot I was just glad no one was around to see or get hurt.

I can't have my friend go through the pain this will cause for her I am glad Weston is willing to help I just hope Ryder will keep calm and work with us but I will not under estimate him this time I did once and stole an important memory from him,

"Hi Joy we have not seen each other in a while can we do dinner tomorrow at my place?"

"Hello yes of course that would be great what time so I can tell Ryder I will be out"

"I mean all 3 and a half of you coming for dinner"

"Hahaha you so funny that will be even better J"

"Great say for about 6:30?"

"Sure then it's a date, what must we bring J "

"lol See you then and you don't need anything just you and the family "

So that was all in order I did a shopping list of everything I needed for dinner and though I would do a desert but I will be cooking for Weston and seeing him again, I was so nervous but so excited at the same time I was strong the last time I could walk away now I just hope I could do the same.

I was finishing up with the dinner when luck brought my phone into the kitchen

"mommy your phone go vvvvvvv"

"Oh thank you my boy but mommy will look at it later I just need to finish the dishes"

"No mommy, man on phone"

"Oh well ta for mommy"

"Hello?"

"Hi, angel how you doing?"

"Um hi Weston I though you said you would message me the number not call"

"I know I just can help wanting to hear your voice I miss you Scar and I really am so sorry angel please can you talk to me not just now to help Joy"

"Weston, we will help Joy and Ryder then we will go back to not talking you are engaged to be married and she is very overprotective of you I won't be the one to break you home up"

"you won't I have liked you from the first day I saw you at the office and now I can't even get you to read an important message, tell me how I can fix this"

"You can't I am sorry Wes, I have arranged dinner tomorrow here with Joy and Ryder for 6:30"

"Great I will see you then"

I could not keep my tears in and I didn't want him to know I was losing control on keeping him at a distance so I just hung up on him I will see him tomorrow and I hope we can keep it from turning into something about us my friend needed our help or he would not be coming,

I was baking a pie for dinner tomorrow after I put Luck to bed he was so happy he would see Piper tomorrow he asked if he could stay home, I promised him I would get him from school early and we could go get her a gift from him so he was ok with that.

I kept thinking about Weston and I knew his favourite desert was lemon pie so I made one but I also made my own recipe Joy loved we called it chocolate kisses

I was heartbroken one day and Joy came round we were in the kitchen having wine and I did this pie with the only stuff I had in the house and it came out so good she said it was better than a kiss from a man and that was how we came to the name of the pie.

I went to bed but I just kept thinking of the call from Wes and I can't get enough of his sexy voice over the phone even though I keep telling him we won't be anything I don't know how I will keep this up I do miss him and it just keeps making me feel more for him but tomorrow I will have on my armour, I eventually fell asleep

The day went by normal I did have a lot of work as one of the clients decided on a last minute change to a campaign that was due to be printed out the next day so I work most of the morning on that I just finished and sent it on to Hope when I looked and it was already 4 I still had to take Luck to get a gift for Piper, so I just grabbed my purse and when to the school to get him we then went to the mall and he ended getting her a bee bear with some sweets I got us drinks for the evening and we got back and it was already 5:45

I quickly started dinner lucky I had done all the pies yesterday so it was just the rice and veggies that was to cook

The door bell went and I was so nervous I wanted to get sick so I knew it was Wes at the door, I was hoping he would come after Joy so I would not be left alone with him as I can't be trusted but I hope they come soon to save me from myself

"Hi Wes come in"

"Hello angel"

Weston it's just Scarlett please

I told you last night you will never be just scar to me, it is great to see you though

I cut him off before he could make me want to kiss him more than I already wanted to

Thank you for coming and offering to help our friends I hope Britney is not to cross you won't be home for dinner, please go through to the lounge I will be there in a moment I must just see to dinner quickly.

I walked off so fast I felt bad I am being a bad hostess but all I could do well he was talking was think of what his lips would feel on mine and the sparks that always ran up and down my body the last 2 times we kissed.
