As we come through the alley leading to the apartment we see an SUV parked out front. Elliot pauses. "Do you know that car?" I ask. "It's, Tyrell Wellick's." He answers. We go to the car and the window rolls down. "Hello Elliot." Joanna Wellick says. Elliot doesn't reply. "Get in." She says. "I have plans." Elliot replies. Joanna laughs, "Would you prefer me to come in?" She asks. Elliot pauses. "No." He eventually answers. "Then get in." Joanna says. We get in with me by Joanna and Elliot by the window. "I'm delighted to finally meet you." Joanna says. "You know me?" I ask. "Ofcourse. Elliot is the Director Of Cyber Security for Saya Corp and your mother owns the company.  I'm surprised we haven't been to any events together yet. I'd love to take you to some of my favorite venues." She answers. "I've always wanted someone I could relate to on a personal level. You're the girlfriend of a DCS, i'm the wife of a SVPT." She says. Elliot's only been out for a week and everyone already knows his position in Saya Corp. "Perhaps we could." I reply. We soon arrive at the Wellick's apartment. The driver opens her door. "Come on Lexi." She says after getting out. She extends her hand to help me out of the car. I accept it.

I sit on the couch. She sits in the chair. Elliot stands up. "I know you're working with my husband." She says. She slides a phone over. "He's been calling me but I can't find out from where." She says. "Could you help me." She asks. Elliot pauses, "No, I'm sorry." He eventually says. She smiles. "No?" She says. "I can't remember the last time someone said that to me." She adds. They stare each other down for a moment. "Let's go." He says. I follow him towards the door. As we begin to pass the guard, he steps in front of us. "Mrs. Wellick made a request." He says. "And I said no." Elliot replies. Him and the guard stare at one another. "Am I missing something?" I ask. The guard cuts his eyes at me then back to Elliot. He leans in and whispers something. "Fine." Elliot eventually agrees. "Great!" Joanna says. She comes over and shakes our hands. "He'll take you two home." She says. She goes up the stairs.

The guard leads us to the car. "I need to go to E-Mart." Elliot says. "We're going to one place, your apartment." The guard replies. "I have the set up but i'm missing some components. If you want this done soon I'll need them." Elliot says. The guard rolls his eyes.

A few minutes later we arrive at E-Mart. I follow Elliot, but end up distracted. "Those are so cute!" I say to myself, audibly. "You should get them." He says. "I didn't bring my card." I reply. "I brought mine. I haven't spent anything in months so." He says trailing off. "Are you sure?" I ask. "The guard looks like he's in a hurry." I add. "If you don't shop now you'll have to drag your bags with you on the subway later." He replies. I hug him then rush off to get a shopping cart. He's right. I hate having to bring bags home on the subway. He usually tries to carry them for me but I don't want him having to carry them either.

I make my way down the aisles picking out things. I eventually make my way to Electronics. I see Elliot looking at a laptop. "Wanting to upgrade?" I ask. He smiles. He must have been looking around for a good one. In the time I filled my cart he only got a can of pringles. "I didn't know you like pringles." I say. "I don't." He replies. He gets a laptop and throws a coupon in. "You got alot of clothes." He says smiling. "I have to, I'm growing out of mine." I reply. "Maybe you're pregnant." He jokes. "I'm not pregnant!" I reply. "You never know." He says. He begins to walk off, then stops, "Until you know, then you know." He adds. "I do know because I've never slept with anyone." I reply. He pauses, then continues on. I follow him. "Have you ever thought about having kids?" I ask. "I wasn't in a good place before." He answers. "I see." I reply. "What about you?" He asks. "I did but I was afraid of having them with the wrong guy." I answer. "Do you think i'm the right guy?" He asks putting an Ethernet cord in his cart. God I feel like my ovaries are glowing. "I.." I begin. "Are you two done yet?" The guard asks peeping into the aisle. "I just need a fax scanner and i'll be set." Elliot answers. "Nobody in the world still uses a fax machine, outside the cops." I joke. "Exactly." He replies.

We leave E-Mart having finished shopping and go back to his apartment. The guard helps bring our bags in.

Elliot starts his set up. He opens the pringles and begin to throw them away. "Ell!" I say, a little louder than expected. They look good, he got sour cream and onion flavor too, man i'm hungry. He pours the chips into a bowl and bring them to me.

I eat the chips as he works on something on the computer. The guard sits at the foot of the bed and watches. He slowly but surely starts talking about work. Long stories about all the douchebags he's had to drive around. Elliot just sits in the chair and listens. I can almost hear him sighing in his mind. When the guard looks away he looks over to me cuts his eyes at the guard then back to me. I can't help but laugh. The laptop chimes. "Here we go." Elliot says after turning back to the computer. He types something in. "Right here." He says. The guard and I get up and look. There's an address. "I need a cigarette." Elliot says. He goes to the door and gestures for me to follow him.

He lights his cigarette and takes a puff, "They asked me to find Tyrell Wellick

He lights his cigarette and takes a puff, "They asked me to find Tyrell Wellick." He says. "Okay? You just did. You had an exact address." I reply. "True, but he's dead." He says. "Dead as in?" I ask. "He got shot." Elliot answers. I look around, "When? How do you know?" I ask. "I just know." He answers. "But I have no idea who's making the calls and that address......it's a few streets over." He says. "That's close!" I reply. I go down the stairs, "We should go over there." I say. He grabs my arm. He's fast. "I don't think confronting someone who makes a habit of calling people and breathing into the phone is a good idea!" He says. "Then what should we do?" I ask. "Let him go over there. If they are batshit crazy they'll get him!" He answers. I think i'm rubbing off on him, that's something I'd say in a heartbeat. "Okay. But what if they're blood thirsty! I don't want to live near a psycho, serial maniac." I reply. "If they were a blood thirsty psycho seriel maniac they would have done something by now." He says. I sigh. "Fine, we'll just fall back and see how this plays out." I reply.

I hope he's atleast partially right.
