Broken -Destiel-

I woke up two hours later to dad and my sister shouting at each other with the occasional remark from my brother. I groggily got out of bed and started to walk downstairs. It became clear what they were fighting about. Not this again. Once I reached the bottom of the stairs all eyes were focused on me. Anna marched over to me and in a low voice said "look what you did. You made mom leave all because you think you're 'attracted' to boys" I opened my mouth to respond but before I could I see her hand whip up and a stinging sensation right across my left cheek. I pulled my hand up to my face, stunned. "ANNA!" dad shouted in a strident voice. She ran upstairs. I felt a tear slip from my face but I wiped it off as quick as it fell.

Not long after she ran upstairs Anna came back down, duffle bag in hand, just like mom. "I'm going with mom" she yelled and slammed the door. I couldn't hold it in anymore, I broke down. I fell to the floor, head in hands and bawled. I lost mom and my sister all in one day. I felt dad and Gabriel trying to comfort me, but all I could think about was how much I let my family down and broke us apart. How, because of me, my sister and mother were no longer living with us. How were dad and Gabe still here with me? Why? They should hate me. Why don't they hate me?! All this is my fault, so why are they trying to comfort me?

All I remember after that was Gabe going to bed and dad going to grab a drink from the fridge. He came back to the couch with two beers instead of one. Even though I was underage he still offered me one and I took it. That's all I remember.

It was now the next morning and surprisingly I was in bed, dispite falling asleep on the couch. I looked at my phone to check the time.

7:04 A.M

It was Wednesday so sadly I still had to go to school. I got up slowly, making sure not to fall over and walked to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth. Once I finished I got dressed for school and made my way downstairs to see Gabe waiting, sucker in mouth "c'mon little bro" he exclaimed. He was way too happy for this hour of the day.

We got into the car and he started driving. Not going to lie, it was bothering me that he hadn't mentioned the events that happened last night, so I decided to ask "hey Gabe?" "Hm?" "About last night-" I started but was cut off by Gabe, popping the sucker out of his mouth "Cas, last night wasn't your fault. Nothing about it was. You are who you are and if mom and Anna can't accept that, then we don't need 'em"
"Thanks Gabe" he just winked at me and turned his attention back to the road.

Gabe was two years older than me. He had brown hair and whiskey brown eyes. A lot of girls loved him and were all over him, mostly because or his looks, but also because of the fact he was the school trickster. He pranked anyone he met. Students, teachers, even parents who entered the school. He wasn't afraid. But even though most people in school saw him as the funny, idiotic, fearless guy, he didn't mind being soft and caring towards me.

Then there was me, the nerd. I didn't really have friends. Most people ignored me, besides Charlie. Charlie is my best friend. She is like a female version of me. I've had a couple people laugh at me for my love for TV shows like Doctor Who and Sherlock. Things like that. I got mostly straight A's and never miss a class unless I absolutely have to.

We pulled up into the school parking lot and both of us got out. Honestly, I was extremely anxious. Anna could've told anyone about me, She had the power too. Anna was fairly popular, just like Gabe, so if she told one person who knows how long it would take for everyone else to know. Not that everyone would hate me it's just there aren't really people like me apparently.
