I think I'm getting close to the end now

2 months later

Things at school are getting better. The threats had stopped, but the stares kept coming every now and then. That didn't bother me as much though. Dean and I got a lot closer since the day we first said I love you.

Dad is working on publishing his new book and his fans are excited to say the least.
Gabe and his girlfriend are still together and they've had 3 pregnancy scares. It's quite scary, I must say. Gabe would not be a good father at this point in his life. Dean also got a puppy for Sam. He found her wandering the streets with wounds on her so they went to the vet then kept her. The vet says she's a corgi mix and her new name is Cassie, Sam picked the name out.

Life is going pretty good and I'm happy I get to share it with Dean and my family, because although I did lose two family members, I became closer to the ones that really loves me and I found some amazing people too.

"Cassie!!" Sam yelled, running around the house chasing her "Cassie stop!" She just kept running though
"Why are we shouting?" I shouted back at Sam. He stopped in his tracks and looked me dead in the eyes "my dog ate my homework"
I tried to keep my laughter in, but failed obviously
"Caas" he whined "I worked hard on it and it's due tomorrow"
"Alright, alright" I caught my breath "I'll help you redo it"

We spent the next 5 hours redoing his assignment and then we got some supper. "When will Dean be home?" Sam asked "I don't know" I looked at the time "he should be home soon"
He was supposed to be at a meeting for work. He told me it would be long, but I didn't think it would be this long. A half hour later Dean comes home and explains that on the way home he witnessed a car accident and had to talk about it to an officer or something like that.

Soon after Dean ate we all went to bed, Sam and Cassie in one room and Dean and I in his.

"Cas" Dean whispered while drawing small shapes on the back of my hand with his thumb "hm?" I hummed "I love you, so much and I don't know where I would be without you" I looked over at him and see his eyes were teared up "Dean, why are you crying?" I sat up a bit so I was leaning on my elbow and I wiped his tears with my thumb. "That accident I seen, Someone died and his girlfriend was a mess" he spoke low and slow, like he was being careful about what he's saying "She was screaming and throwing herself at him, but the officers held her back. You could see her whole world came crashing down on top of her. She used all her energy to get at him and when she had none left, she just collapsed onto the ground and cried until an officer brought her home. I guess it made me think about the future, you know?
I never want to lose you and I don't know what I would do without you.
