When I woke up the next morning I noticed that I had thousands of mentions a new followers.
Was this all because I was talking to Luke and Beau on twitter?
Holy cow.
I followed a few of them back and then headed to the shower.
I made it quick so I didn't worry about shaving and soaking.
When I got out, I went and got changed then ran downstairs to find a note from my mom;
Cayden,
I have a surprise for you! Come to the beach when you wake up. I love you! Be careful.

Mom
How would I get to the beach? She had the car.
Nice logic mom.
I grabbed my phone and slipped on some Toms and walked next door.
I knocked a couples times and waited on the steps until someone answered.
"Hi, Cayden. Luke's asleep."
Gina came to the door and greeted me.
"Oh, that's fine." I began to walk away and she stopped me.
"What is it, dear?"
"My mom wanted me to go to the beach for something when I woke up but she has the car.. I was gonna see if Luke would give me a ride. Thanks anyways." I smiled and turned around.
"Wait here, darling."
She walked back inside and shut the door.
A few moments later she walked back out.
"Luke will be down shortly."
He smiled and waved me to come inside.
We began talking about Luke and Australia and some other things the. Luke walked down the hall rubbing his eyes and with two different pair of Vans on.
"Luke.. Uh.."
I pointed to his shoes and Gina and I laughed.
"Shit." He looked down and grunted.
He walked away and came back in an instant with the right shoes on.
He pushed me to the door and we walked to the car.
"Where are we going?" He asked me with tired eyes.
"My mom wants me to go to the beach. So..."
"So?"
"The beach, obviously."
I laughed and he rolled his eyes.
When we got to the beach, I didn't see my moms car, so I decided to call her.
Ring ring ring.
"Hello?"
"Mom? Where are you?"
"Oh darn. Sorry dear. Come back home."
"What, why?"
"Your surprise is here now."
"Uh, fine." I rolled my eyes as Luke stared at me blankly. "I'll be there shorty."
I hung up and smiled at Luke.
"What now?" He rolled his eyes.
"I have to go back home."
