Cas had fallen asleep after eating. He was half laying on the couch, with both legs and one arm hanging off the side of the couch.
Gabriel entered the room Cas was in, to check on him. He smiled at his sleeping brother before putting a blanket over him. Cas rolled over pulling the blanket closer to his chest.
It was 10am before the Winchesters got back to the bunker. Neither of them spoke as they entered the bunker. Gabriel met them at the bottom of the stairs. "Where's Cas?" Dean asked, surprised it wasn't Cas greeting them. "Sleeping on the couch." Gabe said, pointing towards the sleeping Cas. "Don't wake him. He was up all night." He added, Dean nodded then headed towards Cas. Gabe followed Sam to the kitchen.
Dean sat on the couch by Cas' feet, careful not to wake him. He just watched the ex-angel as he slept, it was usually Cas watching him sleep. He stayed like that for a while, occasionally getting kicked by Cas when he moved or shifted in his sleep.
Sam made himself a cup of coffee and sat down across from Gabe at the table. "Why'd you give the grace to Dean to give to Cas?" Sam asked, taking a sip of coffee. Gabe grinned before answering, "It will help them." Sam set down the mug. "Wait help them? What do you mean?" He asked, the angel disappeared. "Gabriel!" He yelled. "Help them?" Sam thought to himself.
Dean slowly started to drift off, falling over. He was leaning against Cas. He hadn't realized how tired he really was. He fell asleep there not bothering to move. His head was rested on Cas' side, while his legs hung off the couch.
Deans last thought as the darkness of sleep took over was. "Wait...Sam...the morning..." But he brushed it away, to tired to care what his brother thought. Besides it would be Gabriel who would have something to say about this. He no longer cared what any of them thought he truly loved and cared for Cas.
Gabriel walked past the couch to check on Cas one last time after Sam had gone to bed. He smiled and was a bit surprised when he saw the hunter asleep leaning on his brother. He made a blanket appear and put it over Dean. Right before he left he pulled up Cas' blanket which had fallen off him, setting it back on his brother. He headed down the hall with a smile on his face. He stopped outside Sams room, peering inside at the younger Winchester who was sound asleep under the warmth of the blankets that covered his bed.
Gabriel smiled. "Help them realize their feelings for each other, my Samsquatch. It's already working." He whispered, closing the door and disappearing.
