Harry's POV

After getting my hands fixed up (stupid wall!) I head up to Lily's room. My pace quickens and my heart beats faster when I hear unfamiliar voices coming from her room. I step in and see a middle aged women clicking away at her phone clearly uninterested with the unconscious girl and a boy who looks a couple years older than me standing over Lily's bed holding her hand. "Who the hell are you?" I grunt quiet forcefully. The two of them quickly turn to me obviously not realizing I was in the room,"I think I should be the one asking you that young man," the woman spits at me taking in my appearances clearly not approving of the tattoos peeking out from my black shirt,"I am Lily's mother and this is Alec, her brother." She points at the tall dark haired boy holding Lily's hand. Relief floods through my body realizing he is not a threat to whatever it is I have or will have with Lily. "Hey," he mutters only glancing up at me for a second and then focuses his attention back on his sister.

After a moment of uncomfortable silence with only the sound of Lily's heart monitor beeping softly in the background the woman, or should I say Lily's snob of a mother shoves her phone in her no doubt expensive bag, crosses her arms and glares at me,"So who the hell are you?" She mocks me,"Harry Styles," I reply flatly. I take in her appearance. She has stick straight blonde hair, pointy high heels and a plain black dress on. She looks nothing like Lily. Lily has flowy light brown hair, deep brown eyes and smile that could light up a room, unlike her mother's which probably could send a child into tears. "Ah, the boy who put my daughter here in the first place," she retorts,"Oh well I haven't seen you here for the past, hmm lets see, two days holding her hand and making sure the doctors take care of her," I tell her. Her face looks shocked that someone finally beat her at an argument. "Alec, I'm getting coffee I'll be back in an hour," she huffs storming out of the room. I give myself a mental pat on the back for giving her a taste of her own medicine.

"Umm.. sorry she can be really snobby when she's stressed," Alec awkwardly states. "Ya and I'm guessing that's always right?" "Ya," he laughs lightening the mood,"How can you tell?" Alec asks me. "Well, her whole appearance reads stressed and uptight; constantly looking at her phone, perfectly put together outfit, you know just really overly professional." "Mmhmm," he agrees.

For the next twenty minutes we both hang in the room, in silence, just watching Lily. I look over at Alec who has tears brimming his eyes. "Don't worry mate, she'll wake up," I try to reassure him confidently, but my words only come out as a whisper. He wipes his eyes and pats my back,"I just want to thank you for staying the past day or so with Lily, when we couldn't be here. I would have expected such a big celebrity like you to just take off and have your publicist cover up the situation." He admits to me. Shit! I forgot Simon wants an answer tonight. I can't leave Lily, especially after what Alec just told me.
