Harry's POV
Her face is pale and almost lifeless, but I hold on with my life to the glimmer of hope that she will wake up. I stroke her hair and push it away from her eyes. Hesitating only for a second I plant a soft sweet kiss on her forehead. "You'll wake up," I whisper in Lily's ear. I lay down next to her and gently pull her head onto my chest falling asleep with sleeping beauty in my arms.
Lily's POV
This is such a frustrating experience; I can hear everything but can't seem to react or open my eyes. I guess I sleep for an hour after I feel arms holding me softly but protectively. When I "wake up" I her a husky but soft voice whisper in my ear,"You'll wake up." Harry! I think after processing whose voice I'm hearing. All I want is to reach out and for him to hold me; to tell him I'm alright and this isn't his fault. I try as hard as I can to open my eyes or lift a limb, but fail quickly. Thankfully he comes to me pressing a kiss on my for head which sends a shiver through my body. He pulls me onto his chest and raps his arms around me. I hear him humming an then his breathing slows telling me he's asleep.
I must have been hit really hard by that door, I think to myself. I guess I'm in a coma? God I hope someone contacts my Mother and older brother, Alec. Alec and I don't have your typical "brother sister" relationship. We are actually nice to each other and he always looks out for me. Every since my Dad died in a car accident when I was twelve (I'm now 19) he's the only person on this planet I feel comfortable talking to about anything. My Mother and I... well let's just say we don't have a great relationship. She's always wanted me to become a doctor and has never supported my love of art. I guess she'll be happy I'm finally in a hospital, I mentally laugh to myself. She's very "prim and proper" and I guess you could say I'm more the hipster/nose in a book kind of girl. Oh well, at least I have Alec and my best friends Joey and Amanda.
